Understanding the Cancer

I am writing this post because I "feel" we are one the most misunderstood signs out there.

Okay, so we all know Cancers are sensitive...BUT have you ever tried to imagine what it is like to be one?

1. Do you think we don't get tired of feeling like we have to please everyone?

2. Do you think it is fun to feel guilty when you say no to requests even when you KNOW you are being taken advantage of?

3. Do you think we don't want to be unemotional and not give a % &ck about anyone else or their feelings & opinions of us?

4. Do you think that it is fun feeling anger, joy, and sadness all within a two minute period & going crazy during full moons?

5. Do you think we are just overreacting when someone slights us (although not necessarily on purpose) and we (or at least I personally) feel the pain as if someone gut-punched you?

6. Do you know that when we withhold info, feelings, and sometimes lie (which EVERYONE does)...it is usually either for the benefit of the other person or because we feel as they may use it against us later?

Basically, all I am saying is that certain traits are general to specific signs and it is inevitable that persons born under these signs will have them. Virgo's will be anal & picky, Libra's will be indecisive and finicky, Leo's will be annoyingly arrogant, Taurus's will be boring & stubborn, and Scorpio's will be Power Hungry assholes (just kidding about the asshole part, BeautifulScorp 😉 )...I mean we all have our good and bad points that we don't necessarily have control over.

What I would like is for us to try and understand WHY other signs behave the way they do and NOT BASH them for it. Although I do tend to wear my rose-colored glasses alot...I always thought the point of the message boards was to get insightful information other signs and to get opinions/advice on situations that you may not have thought of. Some might say I am whiny for writing this, but it needs to be said.

In closing I will leave you with a forewarning for dealing with all Cancers. Don't mistake kindness for weakness, being the "mother" of the zodiac, we can be quite strong and USUALLY the vindictiveness comes out only when we have ourselves been hurt. The shell is hard as hell, ready for war, and the pincers hurt! Sometimes ALMOST as much as the Scorpio sting! Almost... And if it seems like we don't make sense to you, remember we usually don't make sense to ourselves! 🙂

That was beautifully done, and well put. Quite a bit of it we scorpio's have in common with you. Believe it or not, we're pretty soft hearted as well, it's my belief that the perseption of us is rather scewed as well. We're not all power hungry, and we're not all vindictive. But then again, if someone hurts us, they might think that way... I think all astrological signs have something to offer, I have an appreciation for each and everyone of them.
For instance: if I want to have a great time and meet new people, I'll call my Aries friends. If I need to be put in a good mood, my Taurean friends have a positive attitude that is truly contagious. Gemini's are always fun to watch cause you never know what silly thing they'll do next. Cancerian charisma is truly something to admire. Leo's know how to have a great time for sure, Virgo's will always give an honest opinion (some people like it, some don't I see it as a plus. If my ass truly does look big, I want to know...lol..). Libra's are always very welcoming people, Sagitarians are always willing to hear what you have to say. Capricorns are the most fun (for me anyways) to debate with..lol..😛 As for Aquarians, who can't admire their, who gives a s#@& what people think attitude?? And of course, who hasn't cried on a Piscean's shoulder?? The point of the zodiac was to figure out what each sign is, and what they're made of, and what we can all learn from one another. Criticism in my opinion is not welcome simply because, we are all imperfect. Anyone who looks in the mirror and sees perfection, has a lot more issues, in my opinion, than what an astrological chatroom can help...

Oops, sorry that got kinda long, what can I say, I'm opinionated and passionate... lol.. 😉
