Hello fellow cancerians, for those of you who are like me and over analyze everything, I'd like to hear how you cope with it.

Over the last few days I have been going crazy over a few situations. The First was I was asked to give the commencement speech for my university at graduation this summer. I haven't accepted because I have been obsessing. So I drowned myself in a bunch of school work, and being the best mommy I can be. The second is my cancer male situation which is just full of more confusion every day. I handled this by cleaning my whole house, doing more work, and reorganizing my house. I even have new hand sewn curtains (yay for being good with a needle)..

But how do you guys cope with things like that? Do we all just work ourselves into a tizzy? Problem is I am running out of work and my kid sleeps lol

I handle it by doing either a) Take the bull by its horns and try to solve the problem or situation that i really don't want to handle b) Digging my self down in to new work, new hobbies or new things in general. If you end up with nothing to do then you are doing it wrong so to speak.

lol you're cute, i couldn't be that productive if i tried, kudos on the commencement speech. Do it!

I am thinking that I will do it, I am just all paranoid and obsessed with it at the moment. I have about 10 days to make up my mind and let them know.

@That1Girl -goodluck on that speech. You can do it.
To keep my motivation going on, I usually window shop (fashion/Jewelries..etc)..taking note (memorize) of what good gifts to give..visiting arts gallery..play something to get that neurons going..watch the news..talk to my mom, see how're they doing..research on schools I would want my child to enroll..etc..

Window shopping sounds great! THe problem is no matter what I do the speech or the guy situation pops in my head. Even my Ipod has been on torture mode playing all these songs that remind me of him... ugh

We haven't talked about it. The night before last he stayed here, and we had to talk about some uncomfortable stuff. It was brought to our professors attention that he and I have a relationship out side of being a student and TA. So we had to talk about discretion and him not being able to grade my work lol. It made things a bit tense yesterday when we talked again. So I am giving myself a few days to organize my thoughts and feelings before I contact him again
