Why do you believe in Horoscopes?

Why do you believe in Horoscopes? From what I've seen and heard, there is no proof that horoscopes can work. So why do people insist on letting this kind of crap lead your lives? Sorry I just had to find out.

Horoscopes at times, truly can come in handy. I'm a horoscope junkie myself, just cause it's interesting to see what the stars and planets translated have in store. If it's right it's right, if not, it's okay. I more so pay attention to charts though. There's a certain sun sign that it never fails, I have a swooning weakness over. I found it rather coincidental that it has always been consistent with that particular sun sign, hence I've studied it a bit.
On the flip side, I think everyone really wants to know about themselves. You see it all the time with personality profiles, astrology charts, etc. People want to learn more and more about who and what we are, and possibly what our purpose is.
