Successfully dating a Gemini?

I'm a cap talking to a Gemini and it's already a roller coaster.

What are the pros?
What are the cons?

What has worked or not worked for you?

Yes im currently dating one now. Its been a year and 5 months, everything is great we do get into it sometimes being that im moody n hes sensitive so the rollercoaster is expected/normal but when we take breaks from each other the love is 10x better. @truecap is about to come in this thread and tell you abt her marriage to her ex gem for 18 years n to stay away. Every gem is diff it really depends on his chart n ur chart. I say workout every relationship goes through rollercoasters if u really think about it. If you really love him jus work it out dont listen to a thread cause ur gnna get diff or negative answers from everyonee go wit ur gut feeling.

I say to stay steady give her space and let her get her thoughts together and she'll be back😉

I feel impolite to not contribute to your thread.

My only experience with a Gem was this girl from work. She definitely had some multi-personality issue which depended on her mood. one day she would be sweet and talkative then next she was trying to boss me around and talk shit to my manager about me. Either way, i put her in her place nicely and it never happened again.

I don't think they are what they seem on the surface. She would tell me stories about teh guys she was dating and whenever she felt scorned she would really act up such as hanging up the phone, ignoring calls, making plans and standing the guys up, asking for gifts and then not taking it etc. She could be a special case though. If you can post the remainder of the chart it would be helpful too.

Thanks for the added insight. The last paragraph sounds like game playing and manipulation, which without question I don't put up with.

I'm talking to a gem now that I'm considering dating. So far she hasn't pulled any crap like that but I have seen her multi personality side... Which is why I came here to begin with because I just don't understand that haha.

You're damn right I'm going to address this. Don't you EVER speak for me again!!! Honey, I think I had EIGHTEEN years with his inconsistent behavior, whereas you have had how many years with a Gem? Uhmmm. ONE— One little year. Let me tell you something for the first fifteen years, my marriage was fine. Solid. However, our differences led to resentment and more and more fights.

On these boards, I have been fair to him. I admitted what it was about me and my capricorn traits that he began to resent. I have ALWAYS listed the pros as well as the cons in an objective sense. I have always been honest. I know about four caps that have been married to gems and it all ended the same way.

So, as you are entitled to your opinion, I am entitled to mine. The OP wants an honest answer and he wants to hear everyone's experience otherwise he wouldn't post.

After you've been with that man for fifteen years. Otherwise, mind your own damn business and DON'T YOU EVER SPEAK FOR ME AGAIN!

For what it's worth, here is my opinion after being married to a Gemini and having one for a best friend:

Both people have conflicting natures and its hard for both of them.

I think caps are drawn to gems because they are smart and funny. They lighten us up and help us break out of our shell a bit. I have the best conversations with my Gemini friends. We can talk about anything and we never run out of things to talk about! I still talk to my gem ex, I've known him 16 years and we can still talk forever, but because of circumstances we cut it short. My BFF, we talk every single day, and it's the same.

However, when Gemini people go through a hard time, I think it's especially hard on the Capricorn person. We love them, we will be there for them, but they will drag us down into the abyss with them also. And they can really drain us of our energy.

Another thing is that as Capricorns we can be really hot and cold. The Gemini person finds this confusing and can be easily hurt, also they have a need for excitement and romance that the Capricorn may not be able to provide.

Thanks for the insight. I'm starting to question if I have the energy for this relationship haha
