Yes, for three years. What would you like to know?
No, I'm assuming it didn't go well for you?
Yes, and I rue the day I ever met him.
Well, I'm just curious about everyone's experiences? I struck out with one due to bad timing. Falling for a Cap now, things are going swimmingly so far.
It's said Leos and Caps don't mix but I'm more interested in observations, lessons, tips, whatever you folks have to share..
My best friend of 20 years is a Cappy, would that insight be helpful at all?
Weirdo

Modes of communication are so different that the sharing of ideas, concepts, needs, and desires is next to impossible.
Nevertheless, individual charts can play a role.
Married and then divorced one.
Mine was very possessive at times but very smart. They have a hard time trusting others and need a lot of reassurance. Also, they strive to be sucessful in everything that they do and hate people that are lackadaisical so make sure you're on your Ps and Qs when it comes to handling your business.
A leo co-worker and I (being a cap) are currently seeing if we can be more than just friends. I stepped on his toes a few times when speaking my mind. I'm glad he pointed it out without getting offended or mad, I know I can be too direct sometimes.
I think it could work between a leo and cap as long as they keep talking. But that's something for every relationship I guess.

How does one speak their mind without offending anyone? Can you give me a few pointers on how you handled your Leo please?
Leos roar and then we calm down. Good at making up. Just pet us a little and we soften if we lovvvve you.
I do prefer direct to indirect, even it if it results in undue roaring.

It's impossible not offend anyone. But for those you really care about, I think it's good to know those lines that you should not cross.

True. I might have offended him at first, but he understood that I didn't know him that well yet. I noticed his expression/eyes changed a bit when I said something perhaps a bit too harsh so I asked and he explained that he wasn't used to people being so direct and (perhaps painfully) honest. I'm still very direct sometimes to him but I (try to) dose it.
And indeed, champranger, it's important to know how far you can go. I think the trick is to know what you're saying and with whom you're talking. It's better to ask if they're ok with you saying things about their lives or decisions than changing subjects when you notice you hit a bruise.
This leo is very different from the ones I know though, I think it's because he has a lot of virgo (venus, mars, mercury) in his chart.

Most definitely true!
Not that I remember.

What is it that you don't remember?
My first love is a Capricorn, he lives in California I live in Canada. We fell super hard for each other. He tells me even though we are not together I will always have a special place in his heart. He is really nice and funny. We plan to be together in the future. It's just the distance right now is really hard. I love him so much that whenever I get into a relationship I have this gut feeling that its pointless because I don't think I could love anyone more than i love my cap. Sometimes we don't talk for a long time but we always come back to each other like we didn't even communicate for a couple months. I think if they ever fall in true love they will love that person forever unless they do something super awful to them. I'm a Leo we are both sensible and patient. They will really look after you and care about you. It may take awhile for them to trust you but once they trust you never break it.
Caps are snobs.
Leo and Capricorn are pretty common and the confusion is also common lol. Capricorns are somewhat apathetic creatures, partially why we flock to them and vice versa. Most of my love interest were Capricorn men. All of them were mentally unhinged, a bit cocky and not very good at expressing themselves without push.
It definitely takes work. And they are a lot slower at moving towards commitment versus leo who is fairly quick at figuring out who they want and letting it be known. I did get to a point where 2 of my capricorn ex's announced their love for me. But one told me after a year of being apart. The other told me after about 2 years of being apart. My advice when being with a Capricorn:if you ever want it to work you need to establish communication and whenever you are unsure just ask him. If not, you'll constantly be irritated by his quietness and inexpressive manner. And he will get sick of your attitude. Then voila, disappointment lol.
