Cap/Aqua is back. How to work with him on the future?

It's been 4 days since his brother left (I didn't go to the dinner because I had to work). Cap has been reaching out daily with general texts (about my work, the weather, the day) to test the waters probably.

I've literally been thinking in my head "what would my Virgo friends do/say" and responding like that. It's worked like a charm, but I don't know how long I can keep up the *to me* passive/general responses.

He invited me to a show with him next week. The last we left off about "us" was when I told him I want us to work on a plan together and stick to it. My firey nature wants to just charge in and say, "OK, so,what are we gonna do about this?", " I think we should...". That's probably not the right approach.

I know 100% that he's thinking about it, but is he waiting for me to start the conversation? I don't want to pressure him because I see him as extremely sensitive and moody these days. Should I let him take the lead?

There's too much focus on is he my boyfriend, is he my fwb... forget that for a second and evaluate the friendship between the 2 of you. Go back to that portion of the relationship, and open up as a friend, as much as you are his lover.

Thank you, that is great advice! I have forgotten about the friend part and been focusing too much on our status.

I'd say stop focusing on what he is/things/feels and define what you want.

Trust your gut as to whether or not he can give that to you. If he can't walk.

They are stubborn, but I've stuck to my guns and walked each time mine tried to give me anything less that deserved. He always comes back and has made some significant changes each time. They really will use you and get things on their terms if you're not hard as nails...

This concerns me. You should be able to do and say what you would do and say and have that be accepted/understood...

I see what you mean, and I've been thinking about our compatibility a lot lately. While it is important to be myself, sometimes I know that i am too impulsive and restless. Let's see how this plays out, not sure yet at this point if it's me or him or a combination.

He knows what I want and I know what he wants. He's always steering us towards something. It's quite obvious.

I'm ALL about business, working for myself and making the paper these days - want to retire in 10 years... Hopefully he can keep up with me...
