Tub and bathroom cleaner

Mix 1 part liquid dish soap to 1 part vinegar.
Put in spray bottle and spray area. Leave on for about 10-15 minutes. Rinse.

The Scorp's (Virgo) mom told me about this one, and she is a real clean freak, so since she went on about it, I decided to try it.

Pros: Gets your tub completely clean with minimal scrubbing. I mean completely clean. No residue whatsoever.
Really, really cheap!

Cons: It smells.
It makes a lot of suds, don't use too much or you will be rinsing forever.

Jewelry cleaner

1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 tablespoon dish detergent
1 cup water
1 piece aluminum foil

Heat the water in the microwave for 2 minutes. Put a piece of tin foil in the bottom of a glass. Put in the rest of the ingredients. Add jewelry. Let sit for 10 minutes. Rinse with cold water.

I tried this one today.
Pros: Your jewelry will be restored to "like new" condition. It's really cheap.

Cons: this one smells really bad. Like rotten eggs.

I always do a pre rinse fridge wipe down with a mix of lemon juice and bicarbonate soda... Just keeps it fresh, then a small finger bowl of bicarb in the back corner of your fridge soaks up odours.
I use toothpaste and a soft bristled toothbrush to clean my jewellery. Sssshhhparkling!
Also, if you have chewing gum stuck in any clothing just pop the item in the freezer, once frozen, it just crackles off...
Red wine spot on white shirt? I soak a sock in milk, hold it like a hand puppet and pat the wine out. Obviously this isn't going to work if you decided to shower with the whole bottle but a drip -it will.
