Got inspired by another question.

How many Caps (male and female) have ever met someone they weren't too sure about...gave it a try, and it grew into love?

I have a suspicion that if a Cap doesn't fall in love within 3 months, they won't. Thoughts and experiences?

I've noticed a trend. If a girl is questioning their relationship on dxp, the relationship just isn't working out. I don't believe I've seen any happy outcomes for the girls who have shared their stories looking for help.

This is not really a question for me, but yes, I do agree with you.

The issue with my Cap isn't love, it's that we're so different. On a good day, I practice patience with him, on a bad day, we have some major fights that are really bad. It's not for a lack of feelings, or passion with us..it's like Sun Vs. Rain.

But we continue to try after 3+ years.

How often do you fight?

I disagree. It can take longer or be shorter (for the record, it took a little over 6 months for me to fall for my last love). It all depends on the connection. Further, particularly when dealing with Cappy's, I think the biggest problem people are having is that they are expecting us to open up and/or change on their timetable. Since we tend to only operate (when it comes to our feelings) on our pace, this inherently leads to frustration.

This is kinda sad because we are patient with those we care about, especially since we know we need people to be patient with us.

Lastly, you can always take the direct approach with us, we won't be offended. Just be ready to accept the answer you get, even if it isn't what you want. And yes, "I don't know" is an answer. Sometimes we really don't know. We are waiting to see how things play out a bit to help decide one way or the other.

Also, be careful what you wish for- we aren't easy to get rid of when we are in love with you lol!

You are right. I've been questioning my marriage on here. It's not sorted. Lots of issues.

Yes, on my end.

1. He thinks I don't get his subtle hints when he's feeling tired or blah.

I think he should just spit it out and don't be subtle about it.

2. He thinks I pre-judge him for how he will* react based on his moody reactions in the past.

I think I walk on eggshells so as not to set him off.

The first six months with both.....you could not tell what was waiting around the corner.

When they decide they aren't feeling it....they become very cold.....like they can't be bothered. Think they are sparing feelings....don't realise they are making it worse....nobody wants to waste their time with someone who isn't in it to win it....you have doubts? You are simply test driving? SAY IT.

The "front" to control your perception of them is irritating.

However, on the flip side....when they DO love you....blissfully amazeballs.

Also, sometimes we fall in love before we realize it. Which is something I should clarify about my last love, I realized it at about 6 months, my heart was there long before that most likely.

i'm not sure this type of trick would work on a capricorn though. it'd work on a scorpio lol

In my limited experience I've realized that I can sense pretty early on if something will work longterm or not.

Usually I'll say I'm not interested in dating or a relationship, but if I like someone, yet get that sense of it not lasting forever, I'll push forward but that feeling won't go away. It's possible it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy, or it's possible I was right all along. I'd like to think I was right lol.

I know moving forward, in the far future, if I get that sense of something not working down the line, I'm pushing the breaks and stopping it.

I guess that's probably what people deal with in dealing with Caps. I guess we learn to cut it off rather than dragging it out from experience.
