My Capricorn mother ignored my father when he started to chase her (and was an Aries chaser lol). She told me, he grew on her, but it took her a long time to warm to him. She said he was loud and arrogant, but knew in time, he was a good man 🙂

^^ Lol, yes. Hide it and pretend like they mean nothing to me.
why do you think you caps do that? is it because you're shy?, scared of rejection?, socially awkward? not interested? like why?...

I can just speak for myself. First of all it also depends on our age . When i was just an adult i was extremely extremely shy , then a few years later i opened up a bit but just about a bit. Today if i was single and had to be part of the dating game then i am sure i would be more open and confident .

Other than that the reasons for me were feeling very hesitant , shy and awkward . Feeling of rejection also as not even for a second i would want to impose my self on some one who is not equally or more interested so i would not be the first to open up . Also letting some one know that he is so important would interfere with my pride .

I avoid you. Won't look in your direction, ever.

Its not intentional either. Its just a natural response. If I was to try and understand that response better, I guess its just a way to make sure those feelings are hidden. Why? Who knows.

For me..I play coy if I like someone..Not hard to get, really. We are just very cautious. But, if you can make me smile or laugh, I will loosen up. 😉 Personality and real-ness is more important than looks and bs.

Clam up. I can talk to the pieces guy I am pining over but only when it is just the two of us. And only if I am comfortable. We went to a bar last week with a few people and it was torture for me. I could not talk to him, could not look at him. I think of a million things to say after the fact but my self control jeeps me from expressing anything. I swell up with anxiety over every thing he does, and it is ridiculous, and I know it us. Not to mention completely unfair to him.
