Cloudy Eyes Signs of Depression?

Caps, when you are depressed do your eyes appear cloudy? When I first met my Cap his eyes were like that. I wondered if he was an alcoholic or sick. But as time went on and our relationship went from being friendly to lovers, his eyes were clear. We had a fight a few months ago and I stayed away from him for a few weeks, but when I saw him his eyes had that sickly look. Fast forward since the ordeal with finding out that he was still friends with the ex wife I told him that I need some time to myself so I have been staying away from him. Two days after the argument he came over to cut my grass and he didn't look so good. Two weeks later and Although, he didnt look at me and was very cold towards me, yet telling me that he was doing great! His gloomy eyes told a different story.

Idk. I don't think many of us even know when/if we are depressed let alone notice those kind of symptoms of depression.

Also, if something is going on with him it would probably be more stress related.

poor sleep? poor diet? who knows. "Depressed" as a mood in itself has no particular look. But the features of Depression like poor sleep and poor diet will show on you after a while. Then again, a lot of things besides Depression can lead to those behaviors. So....??

aries415, I have seen what you are saying. When I first met my cap he had this gloomy, cloudy look in his eyes. You could not read anything. I didn't know it was a gloomy look then but now that I know him and looking back I see how much happier he is nowadays (especially after meeting me, haha) and his eyes are so light and expressive. His whole aura overall came out of the dark. I don't know if this is what you mean but I definitely sense a shift in his energy but mostly in his expressions and his eyes.

Any man/person who is that unhappy except with you and will sap your energy. I'd like to compliment/increase your happiness, not be the reason for it. What happens when I'M unhappy, you'll be even more unhappy and I'll have to pretend/put on a happy face so you won't be sad? Too much responsibility. But that's just me...maybe I'm just asocial LOL

I don't know if that's true.
For me, I feel like I wear my emotions on my sleeve.
But people tell me I'm hard to read.
So I think it feels like that to us, but it's not that apparent to others.

I get both of those too. LOL When I'm unhappy there's no hiding it....no poker face at all! But when I'm not interested, engaged, or impressed....blank. When I'm in pain, I also go blank. Usually the folks that say I'm hard to read are looking for an emotional reaction of some type from me and I'm simply not interested in what they have to say....again!

My eyes were cloudy like that but i noticed its been clearing up with exercise.
