If I like you a lot I will ask you to cook for me. It makes me feel like your serious about the relationship and will take care of the home and kids if we end up having any.

What you should cook depends on where you are from.

For me....I'd like meatloaf, taters and gravy, mac and cheese (not Kraft in the box), and some English peas.

And sweet tea (don't mess it up).........

LOL!

imo, make your best dish.

i came up with an easy recipe, that's really delicious, and seems kinda fancy??_ no heating involved too. so everything is fresh. and yes it is raw seafood.

Ahi Poke Tacos:

green and red cabbage shaved
very thin cut/julienned carrots
sliced red onion
cubed avocados
roasted sesame seeds
fresh previously frozen ahi tuna cut into small chunks (prior freezing kills off anything unwanted in seafood)
minced jalape?o if you like spice
sliced scallions or chives
lemon
rice vinegar
mirin
soy sauce
sesame oil
sriracha
hard or soft tacos

for the taco slaw, toss together:
2 - 3 cups mixed shaved cabbage
1/2 cup thin cut carrots
a few slices of red onion
1 whole cubed avocado
1 Tbsp sesame oil
1 Tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp of mirin
2 tsp of rice vinegar

for the ahi poke, mix together:
ah?_ chunks (1 lb will be more than enough. you'd prob have leftovers)
1 tsp roasted sesame seed
1 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp jalape?o
1 tsp scallion or chives
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp rice vinegar
a few squeezes of lemon juice

just an idea 🙂 it only requires cutting and mixing together.

fresh fresh ahi tuna is key though.

Why do you keep referring to every little thing as a test?

Just make something you're comfortable making. Something you've made before. You should have a good true and tried recipe that turns out yummy every time. For me it's chicken pot pie. That's my go to when making dinner for someone for the first time.

Can you use any kind of tuna. Don't think I can find ahi down here. Also, would it work with any other kind of fish?
