Do Capricorns flow with or against the current?

Ever hear that saying "You fight the current on the river and you'll drown but if you don't struggle then you'll live?" I always saw some of us as the people who went against it. Life experience maybe, what do you think?

what about fish? They might be out to go piranha on you and make you sleep with the fishes, permanently. Oh did you ever get my message about stainless steel frames or carbon frames?

Think you can help me with that CP? I'm getting a 1911 that defines me and I've been stuck between a stainless steel frame and a carbon one. I need one that goes in for reliability and can take a good weather based beating.

Ah never mind I saw your email. Yeah it gets pretty humid in NC too so that might help

but do we flow with the river as good as the Pisces?

Oh yeah CP, the only other issues I have with stainless steel are it's too light and the issue of the slides of the guns galling up. If you ever heard of the problem. How do you think these can be addressed?

"be wary" reminds me of "Typical project planning uses buffers to account for the unexpected." reminds of Nassim Nicholas Taleb reminds of his birthday which is 1.st of January.

Umm I try so desperately to go with the flow it's hard for me very hard my life is such a mess and I'm constantly telling myself breathe and just go w the flow

Are you sure you are thinking of stainless steel being "too light" or are you thinking of the titanium, scandium, and aluminum framed weapons? (None of which I'd own). Stainless steel is... steel, buddy.

There have been millions of great stainless steel weapons made, that stand up just as well as anything else. I've seen stainless steel Ruger Vaqueros get beat to hell... fanned 100+ times per day on Saturday and Sunday for Cowboy Action Shooting matches. They take punishment just fine.

Likewise, lost of stainless 1911's out there. They're $ pendy compared to their rusty brethren, but work very well.

In fact, most benchrest target shooters prefer a stainless steel barrel, because they wear more slowly than anything else. Not sure if that also holds true for a semi auto handgun frame, but it is interesting to note. Chrome Moly steel, tough as it is, wears faster than stainless steel for barrel use.

I heard that lighter materials face an issue with heat. But for now I'll take your word. Shoot this is like debating a Kimber or a Springfield.
