Everyday.
Every day. Love reading.

i read dxp everyday.
yep
I used to love to read. My eyes are getting bad (yes, I'm old) and I need new glasses, so it's not as comfortable to read anymore. Plus, I don't have a lot of time for it.
The last book I read was 50 Shades of Grey and it took me three months to read it. My friends all read it in one day!!!
I do like listening to audio books on my long drive to work and back. That fills the need.

how did you like it, the book?
oh, ops. i haven't read the first one. Just the 2nd one. and i couldnt even finish it.
i read articles a lot via the internet, magazines, and other publications. i read my kindle about once a week. i have several books that i have going at any given time either hard copy or on pdf. and sometimes if a book has really grabbed me then i'll finish it in a day or two.

In regards to the OP, i've many books i have yet to get too. i have a problem finishing a book, i have four in rotation right now.
guilty of this too.
either i don't like the book before i can finish it, OR i like it so much that i'm scared of finishing it 😛 in which case, i'll pace myself??_ read hungrily, then walk away from it for a few days lol. i did that with Ken Follet's World Without End which was already the length of the bible.

I get one free book a month on my Amazon prime account, but I have no Kindle-I'm not getting one cause I can't read on Buses-I get motion sickness-the thing is i have atleast 30-40 books in boxes i've not read yet.
that's awesome ...the free books. do you get to pick the books? are they just auto shipped according to the genres you like? the more i hear about amazon prime the better it's sounding.

Interesting story but very poorly written.

I turned into a Kindle junkie. I love reading on that for hours, almost daily. Thats how I fall asleep most nights.I do still enjoy going to a book store and finding new books to read though. Its a bummer because the real big book store we had in my city was shut down about 6 months ago and we really don't have any other book stores to go to. The closest book store is an hour away. 😢 At this point its easier for me to browse books on my kindle and purchase them through there. Its not the same as a good, hand held book though. 😢
it breaks my heart when a bookstore closes down.
i like the kindle. it's convenient for flights, on the go and stuff, but i do like having hard copies too. i love resale bookstores as well. i love the smell of old books. what about a library? you've gotta have one of those close by no?
fifty shades was the same story as twilight. just different premise, setting, character names??_ the main characters all seemed to have the same personalities. the writing was about the same as well. i got through the first books and just couldn't go any further.
after a while, every time anastasia or bella forgot to breathe, it just became slightly vomit inducing.

you should TRY reading the 50 shades darker, supposedly 2nd book. I dont mind the writing actually....it may not be specially written, but the thing that stood out was the way she wrote the characters. I stopped reading because Christian Grey was pissing me off. Now she was able to evoke emotions in people, which i like. However, it's the female protagonist that was making me a little annoyed more than him.
Then again, Twilight fans complained about Bella ALOT.

Lol
Christian Grey thinks he can BUY women, that's his problem. Edward just **sparkles** and looks deeply into your eyes.
I go through phases i guess, there are months at a time when i read every day and finish 3 books a week, others i dont read anything at all. It's not about time either, its just sometimes I can't get into books at all and only read when I need to ( I think it's when my Aries Moon takes over and I just wanna DO stuff).

I liked that movie!!!!
I love buying books but i dont read as often as i should and i see why.
Im "trying" to read a book now. After nearly every paragraph i realize im stopping.and drifting off about whats being said. My imagination takes over when im trying to.read.

Like reading books. I usually get books from my local Public library and can keep them for two weeks. But depending on length it's usually not enough time. Sometimes I'm so busy at work and I have art school I barely ever get any time to read as much as I want. How often do you guys read and how do you squeeze in time?
