What to do after Cap men shows up after months of disappearing?

Im a scorpio female, friends with a cap male for many years. We both were attracted to each other and one day he randomly disappeared on me. Fast forward 5 months later and he shows up again....should I ignore him or push to know what happened? Will he hide again?
