Sorry had to many type-o's in my last postig!

I am dating a capi guy. He had an interview yesterday and didn't get the job. He is very down on himself now and hasn't called me at all today. When I called him to check on him he said he wasn't feeling well, he woke up in a funk and he was sorry for not calling me. I told him he didn't have to call me every day and I understand what if feels like to be in a funk, I withdraw myself. I told him to call me when he was ready and said I hope he feels better. I sent him a text later telling him: Thank you for taking my call I know how hard it is to talk when you're just not feeling it. Take the time you need and know I'm here for you when you are ready and if you need a friend. I am always your friend before anything else. I will be thinking of you.
Do you think that was an ok thing to say to him? I understand these capies are very hard on themselves, but at the same time, I'm worried he will push me too far away. I will let him go if he chooses to leave but I would love to remain his friend. Any comments it would be a great help to me.

Thank you - Virgo Female

Ok ur smart and I'm a cappie guy. No u did the right thing literally couldn't have done anything better. Cappie will come to his senses depending on how serious he is about said job will determine how long he mopes. I usually don't get down long usually never more than. A day or two...I'm more proactive and optimistic with more wisdom.

+1

If Cappy guys are so hard on themselves and don't reach out when feeling down...do they judge others for processing differently?

In other words, if their friend or partner didn't get a job and wanted to talk about it or hang out to cheer up, would a Cappy guy see that as weakness? Do they think people should just solve their own problems?

Hold don't know if I understand. I hate generalities but answering your last question yes we tend to be independent af. They do think people should help themselves. This is without considering other aspects. We are common sense people I don't think he will lash out at you for checking up on him. Wouldn't read too much into it early.

Just give him some space and be sweet when he comes back around.

Send him something funny occasionally. Something you know will make him laugh, but dont be offended if he doesn't respond.
