OP just don't praise the current president and were cool. But yeah ratings is just a seesaw of how the wind blows. All the political shows are soap operas.


I havent praised him, but I havent condemned him either.

IMHO, he's a mixed bag, and I'm ignoring his " style ".

If there is one thing on a non-policy level I like about Trump, he's been the equivalent of a kid who is turning over the rocks and exposing all the vermin who scatter when exposed to sunlight.

And if the shit I'm seeing with respect to the actions of the previous administration re: the weaponizing of government agencies against the American people -- bear out, that alone is a good thing.

As far as the OP: some of its ratings, but more of it is the attitude of coastal "elites" to "flyover country", and how those "elites" regard their "audience" (they think their audience are idiots who will buy anything, and some of that audience probably do).

In their rush to cast Trump (and by proxy, those who voted for him) as evil non-persons, they gave a forum to an over the top nutjob whose accusations were so outlandish that one host (Cooper) had to cut to commercial to avoid looking like a complete fool.
