Urgh.....for some reason this doesnt sound good to me, but u know the saying dont diss it till u try it. LOL ;P
I love guacamale.
Its not s'pose to be gourmet, its merely a suggestion for a quick dinner when you cant be bothered cooking. It tastes pretty good to me. Personally Id rather eat Saggie's scallops but i just dont have the time...!
Give it a go if you're ever tired of cooking. Make sure the potatoes cook enough in the oven until their jackets are hard.
OMG i love baked potatoes..
Yeah they rock!
MMmmmm! I love hard jackets! LOL! I mean on the potatoes..then squish the potatoe out and eat the jacket with melted butter...
i like sour creme on my potatoes and uhhh butter..and uhh...salt and uhhh thingy's..dude i dont know
omg, what i put on potatoes is SO FATTENING!!!!!!...oh well ^^
Potatoes are full of natural sugar too. Probably not a good thing to eat all the time, but once in a while you can treat yourself, if you like to. I am having stir fry vegtables and rice with chicken tenderloins. The stif fry has aspargus tips and red peppers, yellow squash, pea pods, broccoli, etc...sound good?? very colorful too! and a little tamari! yum! the dogs are having scrambled eggs! a whole dozen!!! They love them and it makes them shiny.
...sometimes I even make them toast to go with it! π
How cute, shiny dogs! Yeah baked potatoes with all the trimmings, it definately is the stuff on top that is fattening, specially sour cream, cheese, fried mushrooms, anything. Oh well, its just an extra run around the block for me, when i can be bothered, lol!
I like all the fattening stuff on my baked potato too...I have the same strategy as you LG, an extra bit of effort next time I work out.
Hey, I swear to you all that MICROWAVING your potato will keep it more moist and will actually taste better than using the stove. Try this and you will see...it sounds crazy because it's not the traditional method of baking your potato, but if you don't believe me, cook one in the stove and cook another in the microwave and compare! π

Ok, ive just had dinner and it was a good one. A suggestion for all those who are too lazy to cook.
Boil a spud then put it in the oven for half an hour or so.
Make some guacamale (avocado, sour cream and lemon juice), cut up a tomato and steam some vegies.
Remove the spud, put it on a plate, cut it up and put sour cream, guacamale and tomato on top. Put steamed vegies on side.
Yum!
