Unless you're a Taurus then you probably like warm comforting soup at home 🙄

I don't really care for Ethiopian either. The restaurant I went to was in the states. The experience was top tier but the food wasn't super impressive.
I do like middle eastern (kabobs are the bomb) and Turkish cuisine.
I do not like Indian food at all.

You prob had the weak tourist food in Africa. There's local underground restaurants serving roast lion and stewed elephant but you need the password to be allowed in those places

I've been to Carnivore in Nairobi where they serve that stuff and I just can't eat it. I knew people who worked there so I was given a tour when it was closed. I wasn't impressed.
I was there to visit my ex husband's family. Most of my meals were homemade.
We did stop at an outside restaurant that had the tables carved out of trees and I was so excited.....until I felt my leg and it was covered with ants. I panicked and my former father in law had quite the giggle 😂🤣😂 I thought I was going to die. 🙄
Then another restaurant...I ordered chicken. Then I heard a chicken screaming. Best chicken I ever had. Didn't realise until later that I ate that screaming chicken. 🤔click to expand

Not sure but my life flashed before my eyes and I was convinced I needed to be air lifted to the nearest hospital. All those hours of watching national geographic as a kid made me beleive my extremities were going to fall off. Lolclick to expand

Incorrect. Italy overrated
I'm glad someone said it. Not spicy enough. I'm not a cheese or bread person either.
I'm obsessed with heat to the point of autism, essentially won't eat anything that isn't spicy-- refuse to eat pizza without hot sauce; BUT Asian spicy doesn't do it for me. I had great Thai chicken last week that was edible, but I could only eat in small doses bc of the heat. Wouldn't order again, there was that slight fishy odor from the oyster sauce I couldn't jive with. Not that I hate seafood at all, but I don't love it to the point that the Asians incorporate it in everything. Asian spicy is too sweet for me. And not in a good way like chili with semisweet dark chocolate baking morsels and some agave nectar.
The Mexicans and Creoles, perhaps Africans hands-down do heat the right way. Then there's American barbecue. Mexicans simply use the right peppers and enough salt.
I get that France is the basis of tous les gastronomiques avec leur cremes et roux, mais wtf quelque je mangerais-là. Ne chose rien epicé là.
I bet id like Indonesian because they use that good sambal oelek. Indian is fire, they utilize underused spices such as cardamom, turmeric etc.

there are very different ways to make a dish spiced, there's a difference between chili and whatever they may use in asia or some other countries. I love chili (piment) and the capsaicin, but I can't eat sriracha for example.
There's a latin american chili called rocotto that almost choked me one day, never again.
France cuisine is very overrated it's mostly heavy sauces, food form the 1700s, it's often disgusting.click to expand

My top 3 are SE Asia, Indian, Mexican
What is your favorite Indian dish? Tandoori chicken? I can actually cook a few dishes from scratch like butter chicken. Mmm 😋
I was vegetarian with my Jewish ex for a number of years. She had wanted to keep kosher in a cheap way. Well, actually, I went pescatarian after meeting her because she could not give up fish. One of my favorite memories is trying Indian food for the first time with her. I have loved it ever since.
