I have a Gemini father, sister and best friend and I've noticed that they all are very clean and slightly germophobic.

My sister house is spotless, and she hates clutter and is constantly irked by her Virgo man, he likes to throw things in a box, hold on to old stuff, and doesn't clean much. and she's threatened to throw his stuff out many times and has actually thrown his stuff away. My sister takes at least two showers a day. My sister would have a stroke if she had to live with my mother again, my mother is a hoarder and only cleans when she has guests coming over. One half of her bed is covered with letters, clothes, and stuff she's bought.

My dad is very health conscious and sends me articles about healthy living, juicing recipes and other stuff. He carries a gallon of water in his car incase he can't find a place to wash his hands. I'm not really big on hand washing and he can be annoying sometimes die to his constant need for hand washing. But he had contacted bacterial meningitis a long time ago when he was a taxi cab driver and he didn't wash his hands before eating because he was hungry and didn't want to stop to eat. He told me it was from handling money.

My friend isn't really big on organization but she big on germs. She constantly uses hand sanitizer, and has tells me after she uses a public bathroom she runs out the stall after she flushes because she's scared of the germs from the spray of the toilet.

Is this a Gemini trait or is it just a coincidence?

I'm not a germaphobe in the least, but I know Gems who are.

I take at least two showers per day, but it's not so much to get extra clean. I just enjoy the hot water. It feels therapeutic.

My house can get messy as long as no visitors are coming over...but not for long. When I clean, clutter has to go...especially YOUR clutter. Anything that isn't decorative has to be stashed out of sight. When I declutter my house, it feels like there's also less clutter in my head. Throwing out useless things is cathartic, and I can almost feel the extra space in my brain!

I try to choose healthy, local, organic food and do hard exercise several times per week. I'm super-choosey about the products that go on my skin, too. Most Gems I know have a health regime.

—If a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind, of what, then, is an empty desk a sign— is all I will say on this topic. 😉

Our head is always cluttered with stimuli from inside and outside. The trick is to get rid of the "noise" and focus on the important ones. A cluttered desk could mean more noise, less focus. On the other hand,"emptiness" does not actually exist, not even when we meditate.
