I am an Aries girl and my current boyfriend is a Gemini. We have been dating for half a year now (it just got serious), not to mention this is my first boyfriend. I was always scared of committing because my parents are very very strict. My parents are very traditional people, they like prim and proper boys, which he is NOT. Not saying that my boyfriend isn't respectful, he is, he’s just different than what my parents expect me to bring home. At first I was skeptical in dating him because he was my best friend, but recently I realized that I love him so much and would like to introduce him to my parents eventually. But I always get so nervous that they are going to disapprove of our relationship. He is definitely more out there than other people I have talked to in the past, but that just makes me love him more. There's one big problem though. He is VERY lazy but is crazy and adventurous which confuses me a lot. I want to do more things that would interest both of us, but he never wants to go out. I want to know how I get him motivated to step out of his comfort zone and try more things with me. Our communication skills are not the best. We are both very hard headed and we can never agree. He keeps his guard up on certain things and I want him to feel like he can tell me anything, which he should and can. He always seems so stressed and I want to be there to help him with anything, but I can't do that if he won’t tell me what’s wrong! I feel like the key to a healthy relationship is communication and I just want to know how to talk to him. If anyone has advice please feel free to comment. Thank you!
