Confusing Gemini man

So I have a Gemini friend that I met few months ago and I fell hard for him and he probably realized that.
We don't meet nor talk that often but whenever we do he makes sure to give me all his attention even when I'm not looking he's there looking at me and whenever I'm talking to some guy he tags along or keeps staring at me. However, he would probably never call me nor text me neither on Facebook or phone for few weeks unless I do it first.
And whenever my friends try to make us look like a couple and making jokes about it he just laugh it off and escape the question or subject.

So what do you think? Is that just Gemini being friendly or is he interested and not so sure of it?
He's the typical Gemini by the way, love being the center of attention and always touchy and flirty with girls.

Best case scenario: he's just being friendly.
Worst case scenario: he's using your obvious interest as an ego boost.

It's possible. But you've made it too easy and made him too comfortable. Be around him but stop acting interested. Act like you had a crush but now you just see him as a friend. It'll make him want you more if he sees that you're not an easy catch.

So I decided not to take it too fast nor seriously and just act like we're just friends.

We did go on a group hangout with other friends after that but he gave all his attention to me by walking next to me, pulling the chair for me, sitting beside me and kept talking to me all day long. He even didn't allow other boys to talk to me. When we were to go home he got a bit flirty and asked me to stand next to him in a position where our shoulders were touching.

One more thing I forgot to mention, after that we didn't talk much and we only texted each other after around a week because I went to his school without telling him that I'll be going so he got mad at me saying that I should have called him and asked me to call him the next time I go there. After that, he started asking me questions about me for the first time like what I want to do in my life and such things. It was the first time he ever asks anything about me.

No matter how much attention he's giving you, everything everyone here said is still true. He'll ask you out if he wants to date you. If you are to be his only girl, then you need to be "going out" regularly, not "hanging out" regularly.
