Female Virgo interested in Gemini Male

I need some advice please geminis! I have been totally drawn to this man that is a regular at my work. I could tell he was interested and our synchronicity of timing has been perfect almost. I gave him my number two days ago and he was really happy about it. We've been texting a little for the past day and I ended up learning he's a gemini. He is busy and wants to hang out but we havent figured out a time yet. He never texted me back today and is posting social media updates.

ANYWAY

I'm just nervous and over thinking, obviously since i'm a virgo lol. One of my dear best friends is a Gemini, we have the most stimulating conversations but sometimes she just ignores me (I know geminis need space) but the air sign floaty-ness hurts my feelings or catches me off guard since i'm so rooted in the aspects of myself... if that makes sense ... lol bear with me ya'll. Since we have been friends for so long I am learning to understand it and be okay with it and not get too caught up in my emotions about it.

I had a fwb situation with a gem a while ago. I am a virgo. We had fun moments he was like a child and we would laugh a lot. At some point he started being distant and kind of rude so i just decided to disappear from his life and kind of ghosted him. Until one day he texted me "we met exactly two years ago" and said he wanted to meet to talk. We met and he asked why i just didnt want to see him anymore and disappeared. I said i didnt like his attitude. Later he admitted he was acting like a jerk because he started having feelings. Im not sure if he was sincere or lying when he said that. I told him we could be just friends anyway, and we are today. I really loved his honest communication and how we actually stayed friends and now have real fun moments.

I wanted to answer this earlier, but didn't get time till now.

But it wasn't easy because of different energies and different inner set ups, so I really think that the relationship can be more successful when you are both mature and in certain age.

Also, the male and female roles in our cases are reversed, which definitely affects the dynamics of the relationship.

But you sound sensible and ready to understand others, so trying to adjust and understand the energy of your female Gemini friend, could help you a lot with your Gemini boy.

Instead of the first reaction of anger or withdrawal in problematic situation, always try to communicate things, talk them through, that is so important.

I also think that it is important to know if your Gemini have water or earth in his chart (and vice versa, ifyou have any air or fire), which would help the communication and the flow of feelings between the two of you tremendously.
