He wants his space, then spam my phone

Hi all!!
I need to know what to do with my Gemini boyfriend. Sometimes it's like one twin is telling me something, and the other is upset that I listened to the first twin lmao

We were best friends for a while, and I always liked him, then one day he admitted his feelings for me. And we decided to start dating officially. He called me the love of his life, his soulmates and all that jazz. He's told his best friend of 20 years how much he loves me. So I'm guessing it's true? hah
But dating officially is when our problems started. I don't even know why. I didn't change anything in the way I do things. As friend we hung out 4 times a week. Now when I ask him to hangout like we would as friends, it's like I'm bothering him. He will ditch me often to do something else, I get the air side, but when I told him about how we had plans, he gets mad.
When I call to talk like we normally would, he will talk to me for hours, it'll be fun! but then he'll tell one of our friends that he doesn't like talking to me that much 😢
He says he does a lots of things only to make me happy.

3 days ago, he told me he needed more space and freedom, cause me asking him to do things like before, he thought I was being "needy" and I said, ok! I will leave you alone for a few days, no me getting in the way, do what you want with your friends, you won't hear from me, and he thought it was a good idea!
And yesterday he spammed my phone and told my friend that he hates when I ignore him.. There's always a double standard with him!

I'm lost people!

Haha so Gemini. I suggest you get on with your life, wait for him to call, don't make the first move even if it takes days and when he does tell him that "he was right, timeout was a good idea of his" when he wants to see you, go and keep it light and don't try to plan another date, when he asks to see you again, make sure you tell him that you think that once a week is enough at the moment so you can both get a better perspective on the relationship. Gem's will want you more if they think you aren't trying to ball and chain them, freedom is important to them. Give him his freedom and soon he'll want to spend his free time with you.

Don't be worried that it means he will go and find someone else, because if he was to do that, then he would do it anyway, so he's not the type of guy that is ready for a relationship. Just trust and find something you enjoy doing that takes your mind off him.
