How can I tell you are interested in me?

Well, I have been quite attracted to Gems since few years ago, and I finally got around to hitting up one in private (my fears of rejection and other issues prevented me from doing this before). She's like the oddest person out there, but I really like her. It's just that neither one of us has time for talking (my phone dies, she's busy, etc), so it's more of a back-and-forth with a half-an-hour delay.

I'm trying to figure out if I should just stop trying (seeing as she might be interested in other guys, I don't know and would never ask her) and not give a bloody damn or if I actually have a chance of getting to knowing her better. This is like the first time I actually tried to get myself into an appropriate relationship, so that's that. I'm really afraid that I won't meet anyone else who gives a damn about me at this point.

Anyway, I'd like to know some of the possible hints or things you do to show interest in a person.

I know the struggle with Aqua men all too well. Y'all are so passive, and women always seem to have to make the first move on y'all.

As a Gemini woman myself, I like to be a bit old fashioned and let the man do the pursuing.
