Posted by WhiteChocolateThat sucks for you but how cool that people admire you so much. 🙂
Because I follow the other site LOL.
Yeah there are guys that try to make themselves look good on social media to get in the good graces of some of the bloggers and fishing guides and shops because they think they'll get free shit.
One of the shops here has me teach classes every now and then and pays me in store credit.
These other guys want to get on that train too.

I feel I need a break from it.

Posted by WateryGemWhat you're saying is very true. It resonates with what I have seen and felt with social media including Facebook. It is a challenge coming to terms with the fact that in our day in age where we have connection to 7 billion people at our fingertips, we still, in a sense, feel alone. There's still a void. A void that can only be filled with human, one to one connection. Which is why you might be asking yourself what the reason is for a large audience. Most, or the general population, only show a happy faces and an amazing social life. You might think they're always happy. However that's all we see. We never see those peoples' sad moments in life; their losses; their aches and pains. Plus, we may fall into the trap of comparing ourselves to other people and ONLY to what we believe what their life might be like according to what we see on Facebook. I'm rambling. I know. My point is, I think its good you deactivated it. It'll feel like a detox, I'm sure. I've done it before. 🙂
I feel I need a break from it.
So, I'm going to try to keep it deactivated for a month and cleanse my mind from the fake crap.
Have you guys felt this way? I do, like it for keeping up with important events for my kids but I started posting those so I was the only one seeing it. I feel like you have this large audience but for what reason? I guess, I don't really see the point in it, right now.
