yesterday when i was talking to my gem she told me she was out whole weekend to what i told her to stop partying and concentrate on the hard classes she is taking, and she is hanging out with people who study certain sort of geographical field, i basically said that they will end up digging graves and that she needs to think of future, i have no idea where that dad type bullshit came from, but i dont think i was that mean, well basically she told me "u need to be a little more nicer" im not sure she meant to her or to her friends or in general? i apologized and was very sweet after, idk if she mentioned tho

I agree. I, too, get upset to be on the receiving end of fatherly advice. If you're the father, then I'm being perceived as the child, I figure. I would probably take it as an insult to my intelligence and to my autonomy. It's not what you said (you could have been right on the money), but the WAY it was said. "You need to be nicer" sounds like a courtesy warning (translation: You're harshing my buzz, Mr Dad).

lmfao she was upset once with something and i was calming her down and telling her stuff to do like an advise, and she said "okay father lol" and when we were partying once she was wasted and wanted to like go somewhere in the club where we were together but i kept helding her didnt want her to go and whatever i was worried and protective and shes like " stop being my daaaaaaaad yuoure being my dad right nowww stop being my daaaaaddd" with a winy voice lol that was so cute, i mimicked her saying "im not being your daaaad" and distracted her by dancing with her lol, its so easy to distract her 😄 like a child.. i called her my child a couple of times and i also for some reason always grab her hand when we cross the road idk its a reflex, and the last time i did it she started laughing and said "im not a child im older than you i should be walking you hahaha" lol i didnt say anything.. but now she avoids me -_- she ahd a hard ass test today though maybe thats why cause i kept distracting her, will see how it goes next week, hope her angryness at me is as short as her attention span lmao

micromanaging much? if you know she get's straight A's then why are you doing so? because you care? it comes across as very judgemental. how do you know if those people she "parties" with aren't book smart? i've met plenty of people that took 8 courses at harvard , berkley, ucla, usc, private schools. work. and party.

Geminis can be childlike...I know I am. But don't confuse that with childISH. And never confuse it with needing to be treated like a child. We resent the hell out of that and, if you want a relationship, it won't go well for you. I know that if someone is treating me that way for long enough (and long enough might be just 1 time), I'll do something intended to disturb him to prove that I'm the only one who's in charge of me. She's given you plenty of warnings, so she obviously likes you, but my advice is to stop being her dad immediately...before she stops putting up with it.

yeah im not aggressive or forceful just protective, and TRUST ME I KNOW DAMN WELL about her abilitites i just dont want her to think that she is smarter than me, and hell she might be, she is pretty smart actually, we had a sorta deep sharing convo the last time i saw her, and thigns were back to normal after the few ignore days lol.. she was all hyper we went to eat etc. also i never greeted her before by a kiss on her cheek, now i kiss her OFTEN lol, and sometimes when i leave and shes sitting i just kiss her on her head, cause i love her shes amazing, but i hope she takes it as a friendly kiss, well last time i saw her i kissed her on her cheek and shes said "you always have to kiss me" and i laughed to that then we started talking about soemthing dont remember what it was, but does that mean stop kissing me? :/

I dont have to watch my tongue im not an idiot to say something stupid, and she does not play cat and mouse with me, we are good friends thats what it is unfortunately, and even more unfortunate is the fact that i cant do anything until she breaks up with her bf.. they have been together for almost 4 years, i assume its a strong relationship because they've had fights, she might like me, but not to the point of leaving her own bf who she knows, for someone like me who she is still getting to know, like for example only last week she told me some personal family things i didnt know about, ive met her brother about 2 weeks ago, and her mother about the same time - she made us food ^.^ that was really cute of her and i think she liked me because she kept smiling as she was driving away.. so we definitely have some connection otherwise she wouldnt even talk to me.. like week ago when she was busy studying i went and bought food and coffee for her she was "mad" at me for that but i like to do things like for close friends especially if i like someone u know what i mean.. i dont think it looked like i overdone it, i mean there was no pressure i kept everything father like -.- her friend laughed and so did she because i asked whether stuff i got was good, i really wanted to know cause i got the same thing and i did like it, so they like laughed it out as if im being "so concerned" etc, but the point is my hands are tight as long as she has her bf, i can keep doing nice things, be nice/rude as i am, and not fukc up along the way. Now, my chances are 1 to 100, but if they ever do break up, my chances will be 99/100 because she thinks that i am stubborn so she won't fight it and will let it happen. Though it probably won't ever happen and we will just end up being friends.
