We've been dating off and on for like the past year. It seems like one min everything is good and we're talking on the regular but then it moves to her being distant, and when she becomes distant i do the same because i don't want my feelings to get hurt. Then she would randomly text me saying something like "thinking about you" or "i miss you". But would disappear again. Is she just using me as a person to fall back on or does she really mean what she says? I'm a leo.

she likes you, but you are not set in stone. she's enjoying her life, so let her, but... I bet if you stop responding all of a sudden her interest will be there... for now, you are always there when she wants you.

i normally get distant when there's a lot on my plate/mind. like problems that need to be sorted out/fixed. if i were to send a msg/txt saying those phrases, i would genuinely mean it. give her some time and when she comes around.... you might want to discuss with her about it. let her know how you feel about the situation and about her. you'll get farther by being calmly straight forward with her.

im 24 shes 22

We go through cycles. You could probably chart mine on a calendar. Regularly, I feel the need to pull away from my relationship. I start to feel like I'm losing myself and need to remember who I am when I'm by myself. I'm married, though, so the pulling away is more mental.

Personally if I become distant with someone I like/have been on and off with then its safe to say I dont really like them/not interested OR im keeping them there while i am off exploring other options/living my life.

When I like someone, im quick to make it known one way or another and I will be in constant contact with the person.. If i am not so interested then they wont really phase me and i will tend to ignore them because i just cant be bothered or i'll reply/get back to them when i have time.. IF i remember!

Basically from my experience, if we like you, your in our mind maybe not first priority but you are definately there and you DO NOT get forgotten.

If i like you and i need space as i am going through things etc am stressed, i'll let you know i'll say something like, i dont mean to be a b*tch but i've just got a lot im dealing with at mo, if i get a little distance, i dont mean it in a bad way and make sure they know i still want them!

I don't think she is using you. She probably just needs some space or she may be preoccupied. Geminis like their freedom and they also like to keep their mind busy. How old is she? Most gemini woman aren't ready to settle down and get serious until they are older. I agree with misslissa. Just talk to her calmly about how you feel.
