Tips to repressed Evil Twin ?

I don't know what happen to me but I just snapped today at my roommate (i doubt it matters but she's a cancer). I got tired of trying to accommodate her whenever she has a complaint about something (which is often). 😢 This is the first time I gotten angry vocally at a friend before. Any tips to try to prevent my evil twin from coming out cause I think i said some hurtful but truthful things today. Thanks 🙂

for me... i try not to repress it... i just deal with it as it comes, instead of harboring it until i blow. confront things that bother you diplomatically before you blow up. and IMO, it's never bad to say truthful things. even if it hurts.

that's very tru @ lissa U minus well just let your other half come out instead of keeping him inside all the time.
If that's the casae then you not dealing with your other twin when in all fact you need 2 just like the rest of us

The truth is what keeps a Gemini free. Unlike the water signs. The roles would never be reversed because the Cancer will suppress those feelings (even if true), and you'd never know till after the fact. This is one of the things that gives us Gemini's a bad name. We speak the truth especially when it's hurtful. If what you said was/is true, then so what. You already know how the Cancer is going to deal with it. Predictable I know. But it is what it is.

Thanks guys. 🙂 I guess I should let my evil twin come out more often. It just never felt a need to come out because I never felt angry at my friends before until now that is. Now that it has come out, I hope I didn't hurt her too much but I don't feel sorry for it since it is the truth. I think I consider other people's feelings too much. Maybe it's the Venus in Cancer. 😢

Communication doesn't work with her because it doesn't seem like she actually listens to what I have to say. It ends up being brushed off since every time I talk to her about a problem, she tells me it's not a big deal >.< which is aggravating because not being able concentrate on my studies and being locked out of the apartment (we have 4 locks, 2 of which are chain door locks which she locks whenever she's sleeping) are serious matters to me. Whereas she said her complaints are her attempts to "make our lives fair" which doesn't make sense to me due to the nature of her complaints. Sigh I'm sorry for venting. It's just a stressful time for me.

Can't agree more! My venus is also in cancer and I like helping, supporting, listening and taking care of people, but guess what? With cancer it's just too much! Too much to complain about ALL the time. I had a cancer friend who would text me all worried because a light bulb broke at her place, oh and she expects sympathy! I'm sorry, but people die everyday and you're telling me a light bulb broke? I ended up bursting out too lol now we don't talk much.

Don't do anything you will come to regret. Be cautious, think things through & play fair. If she's smart, she'll stop locking you out. Sheesh, how rude 😛

Thanks for all the advice. Though I do not regret it since I just said what I feel and what she did to make to feel this way. I did not throw in any extraneous comment to deliberately hurt her. I will try to think things through more carefully. Just 8 more months to endure and this will all become a past memory 😄 I can handle that I hope.

So i was locked out Sunday for a couple of minutes from my apartment by my roommate. Then she said she'll give me a warning. She said it's my responsibility to call her in advance to let her know that I'm not at home so she will not use the chain locks. It's just the two of us living together in a 1 bedroom apt so it's not hard to notice when I'm not in the apt. Anyways I talk to the management and they said that she's not suppose to do that because my name is on the lease, too. As a precaution of being locked out perhaps for a longer duration of time, I could either a) choose to call the emergency number and pay $ 10 each time they bust open the door or b) remove the chain locks. So I request for the chain locks removal. Hopefully this problem will not escalate out of control. I think she might do something to get back at me for this. 😢

I hope it's done soon. I'm just sitting here thinking of how I should confront her. So many potential conversations and how it might play out are just overloading my brain :/

lol. I don't know. She doesn't seem to like to show affection or do stuff with people. I have invited her out many times bfore the apartment situation and she usually will not go unless she feels an obligation to go.

Apartment keys I have. The chain locks do not have a key. It's locked from inside the apartment so I cannot open those 😢

I always saw that in her too.. but I was her friend right up until last year... now its like WOW! You're EVIL! I stay THE HELL away from her as much as possible!! She's never been well liked and now I know why!

She also seems to play the victim all the time, is that a Gem thing too? I know another Gem that does it aswell...

lol I have never experience how evil a geminis can be and don't know if all geminis play the victim. When it's my fault, I would acknowledge it and apologize if necessary. It is the same with my mom, who's also a gemini. My friend who's a gemini gets irritated sporadically. And I don't think I'm evil to my enemies lol. I usually just do not talk to and hang out with my enemies unless I have no choice. I usually just go with the flow so to speak. This time I had to take action since compromising didn't work and I felt my freedom and security being threatened by being locked out of an apartment I paid for. If it's only her apartment, then I wouldn't feel this way.
