I aim to brush my teeth twice a day, does it always happen? NO. Often I get into bed and have forgotton to brush them and I cant be bothered to go back to the bathroom and do it.
Then sometimes I brush them 3 times in a day, once when I get up, again if im going out in the evening, and once again before I go to bed.
I have also been in a rush and ran out the house without brushing my teeth and had a chewing gum and hoped for the best! Also if i am ill in bed, the last thing on my mind is stumbling to the bathroom to brush my teeth.
My teeth are in quite good condition, well for a british person, since we all apparently have bad teeth lol. People always say how white my teeth are, especialy since I smoke.
Basically you need to be careful of buying toothpaste with Glycerin in the ingredients amongst other things. Best to opt for a toothpaste from a health shop without Fluoride also.
3x daily and floss 2x
You know what, it's rare that I hear about someone flossing nowadays. To some people, brushing their teeth w/o all the extra flossing is good enough. Interesting.
Flossing is actually very uncomfortable for me, actually. It's annoying. I do it daily but it's annoying. I used to think that flossing would cause my teeth to form gaps b/w them since the flossing string had to work hard to slice b/w each tooth!! lol
not often.
but i live in England and i have wooden teeth.
but seriously 3 times a day? wow! and all that flossing crap as well, maybe i'm just lazy but i couldn't stick it.

It's because were English, apparantly we have some of the worst teeth around! lol
LOL Such a stereotype. Everyone had very good teeth in England from what I could see.
I brush once per day, if I even remember to. Sorry, not trying to be gross. I mean to brush, but I'm just busy and distractable. I haven't flossed since I was a kid and I just recently saw a dentist after about 15 years. I've never in my life (39 years) had a cavity or teeth troubles even though I've always been surrounded by people freaking out about my lack of dental care.
2-3 times a day

I'm just curious...How often do you brush your teeth?!!?
There are so many myths/theories around about how often 1 should their teeth daily/weekly. I've heard that everybody should brush their teeth atleast 3 times a day, while other times I've heard that brushing them once a day is just fine. I've also heard that you are supposed to brush your teeth after every meal. Welp, only 1 problem with that: IF a person eats persay 6 meals a day, for example (even if they're SMALL meals), it'd be more HARMFUL to their teeth/gums to brush their teeth that many times in 1 day!
I wonder if the average person is even HONEST about how often they brush their teeth! It's almost as if people assume that the more number of times they admit to brushing their teeth daily, the more they seem/appear to be "clean" somehow!
My cousin, 5 1/2 years ago was OBSESSED with brushing his teeth! Granted, he had perfect, straight & pearly WHITE teeth, BUT he ended up having to have surgery on his gums & teeth b/c of ALL things, the dentist told him that he was brushing his teeth TOO much! They told him that his gums & teeth being exposed to SO much toothpaste was actually doing more harm than good! Of course, this comletely shocked him, considering he figured the more the better. But in fact, no...depending on WHICH type of toothpaste/brush you use, the LESS is better.
It's amazing how some of the people who only brush their teeth once a day have even WHITER teeth than those who obsessively brush their teeth 3-5 times a day!
