So on my physical therapy journey I’m working with a physical therapist and chiropractor.

They’ve recommended Pilates and acupuncture as companion treatments. So just curious if anyone has any experience with these (mine is 0 on both).

Give me the tea

I trashed the garbage medication 1 week after they (hospital) gave it to me.

Using cbd oil primarily for pain management (topically and orally).

Acupuncture would be another way to manage pain.

Pilates would be to help strengthen my spine (muscles).

Currently I have two prolapsed disks in my neck and low back. All reversible, just gonna take time. And I’m impatient af.

I do Pilates and yoga and I like both for my spine—straightening and strengthening

You just have to be consistent with your sessions

How many times per week in order to be consistent ?

I try to do 2 sessions of each per week but sometimes I do none

So even if you do once a week, just don’t skip it

Ok that could be doable. There’s a Pilates studio down the street from me so I can walk there. Zero excuses

Acupuncture never did anything for me, except relax me. Yoga & Pilates for muscle strength & regular massages to help with tightness.

Chiro only when I’m really off but I slip right back due to weak muscles so not so helpful.

Did the acupuncture help with pain at all?
