Posted by Neno2Posted by jeaneIn the mean time i am ready to go out and i look splendid?just putting some salt in a wound?
Knowing that weight loss is mostly diet I have managed to lose and get just slightly above my goal weight in the last 6 months.
It's been a mix of calorie counting and going to the gym for 5-6 days a week, doing a couple of sessions of cardio and the rest strength training and weight training classes.
Now I am wondering to get myself to a lower body fat, looking leaner and feeling stronger should I get a pt? Or should I just continue what I am doing?
I plan to cut down on the cardio and concentrate more on the strength training but is this something I could work out myself? After all, I have been successful by myself so far.
Get a pt? Worth their weight in gold or just a waste of money? I don't have oodles of cash so any advice would be very useful. Thx

Just try lifting a more challenging weight. Do HIIT Instead of steady rate Cardio. It burns more fat and helps keep the muscle. Try sprints along with weight lifting. A good diet with sufficient protein as well. Honestly a PT is a waste in my opinion. If you need more advice on lifting watch YouTube videos or ask someone at the gym that seems to know what they are doing. I mean unless you have the money it would be more motivating to have a PT but from what you said seems like you have the motivation just need the right routine
