Longer Posting History

Doubling the current 20 posts to 40.

the 20 posts per page is done out of downloading time and bandwidth concerns. it may or may not be changed

For no reason whatsoever, I clicked on the irl (?)to the right of our usernames.. and got the last 100 posts I've done. I am in awe. Forget I mentioned the 20 to 40 postings.. This 100 limit does the trick.

Yeah, but here's the confusing part: dxpnet says that you can't really go by IP addresses (the number you're referring to), because some IP addresses are "recycled", and may apply to several usernames. I don't know, it confuses me, you'll have to ask him to explain it better. I mean, if you know it's you, that's good, but I guess you're not supposed to go by the IP address when trying to determine who posted what. Or something. Did that make sense?

No, not really. 😉 Actually, I did. Because right after I'd typed that.. I looked you and Morgan up. You had quite a few pages of posts. Morgan only had about 1 page.. and I knew that wasn't right. (Meaning.. looking up by IP). So yes, there's still no perfect way to quickly get old posts.
I've been sifting through them when the board's slow, but that gets tedious after awhile. Still, learned interesting facts w/o making the post'er have to repeat themselves.

BTW.. You might as well ask to rename the DXP board to the DXPhonenix board. You have about a bazillion suggestions!

Notice I've laid off on the suggestions almost entirely for many moons now? I didn't want to become...annoying...with all my ideas.

You're giving credit where it's not deserved, really. I've been following the trails of people I found interesting, that's all. You seemed to be the most prolific poster, so I went a few pages deeper. That's how I ran into Morgan's threads, by the way. I do appreciate some of the history behind the board now though. Like it's 6 years old, etc.

I'm not sure I've ever been called "prolific" before. Interesting.

Well.. to be honest, most of the girlfriends I've had, I gained from stealth. Friendship becoming more, etc, gradually over time. (Erh. Proximity helps.) "Duh".. I know.

I dont quite know what is happening but I can't seem to get to the regular message board posting area right now.

le sigh! More upgrading and changes I guess. sob! I miss my friends and I need them. My mom is in the hospitol again and it is not looking to good this time at all.
