This tells me there is trust lacking in your relationship on the part of you, him, or both. Whatever his intentions or how he obtained the e-rose...he sent it to you. He may have just wanted time to himself but felt bad that he was not with you. So, he did one thing special. If there is done thing else going in, you'll find out soon enough. Don't stress over it.
