Cancer Woman Needs Advice

So I was dating a Leo guy for about a week or two and we instantly cliqued, things got intense between us fast and we both fell for one another, it seemed as though we could read each other's thoughts and emotions without words it was truly unlike anything I've encountered. So here's the trouble, I just got out of a relationship with an Aquarius man (7years of hell) and I saw a lot similarities in the financial as well as career path of the Leo man. I suggested we slow things down and become friends first because I wanted something more stable, in true Leo fashion he became enraged and I really hurt him. I've tried multiple times apologizing and we've even hung out once since the argument and it was as if nothing happened, but now he is ignoring me and tells me that it will not work because we are too similar in a lot of ways and it was cause problems. He thinks it's best if we do not work through things because things got intense fast and it's not necessarily a good things. In true Cancer form, my emotions were wide open and I continued to contact him hoping that my feelings and honesty would bring him back but he has completely disconnected from me.

Is all hope lost? It's been a couple days since I last messaged him but it's been almost a week since he sent his message, he recently deleted our thread after three days of just leaving it on "read" advice anyone? Desperately need it lol
