getting over exes *gag*

How do you act during and after break ups? Bonus points for how you deal with hearing about your ex after the fact.

For instance...
I'm usually really upset during and immediately afterwards, but I get over it pretty quickly. And the reason for this post (lol) is that my ex told me that he's seeing someone else (which I figured). Even though it's all over between us, it made me feel really crazy... for like an hour or two. Now I think I feel fine. But during those intense emotions, all I could think of was "I need to pull myself together and become perfect and make him feel sorry." Even though I dumped him!

I'm thinking it's my Mars in Aries in the 8th house.

So what about you guys?

Whoa! Your feelings are so intense. I can see how Venus in Cancer and a strong Scorpio signature could do that. Wow!

Do you know Tim Gunn from Project Runway? Apparently he was in a relationship when he was younger, and he was lying in bed watching TV with his man, and he tells Tim out of the blue: "I can't deal with your drama anymore!" and just leaves him just like that. So Tim decided he wouldn't be in another relationship ever again because he can't deal with that anymore. Decades later he's still single.

Time will tell, indeed. I don't have many years under my belt, but I think that time will help. It sounds like you have so much love to give, and whoever you were with was lucky to have that, but probably didn't understand what it was at the time. Of course, I don't know the situation. Hopefully my Tim Gunn story didn't bum you out; I just think it's fascinating.

I'm actually trying to have less control of my emotions. So tired of dealing with my emotions privately. It's too bad we can't swap our problems. Haha, hopefully that doesn't sound too silly.

As I??ve matured more??_I only get into relationships that I plan on continuing for ..ever. So these are devastating when they end. I mourn them like they were deaths. I think it's hilarious that you??re talking an hour or two??_try two years of nightmares over a Scorpio.

Well damn! I wish I could defend myself without telling my entire life story. Maybe it's because I'm younger than a bean sprout, but yeah, it looks like I haven't experienced the depths of emotion that you have.

Haha yeah, it's true. I'm the epitome of impatience. (Please help!)
