What does it mean to be an introverted Leo? Everything I ever read about them is how expressive and confident they are, but my brother was born a Leo and he is an absolute introvert. He's also 7 feet tall though, and has dealt with the pain of being the center of attention at all times, getting asked stupid questions by every passerby, having photos taken of him like some kind of circus freak (his words). It's taken a long time but he's finally learned to accept it and use it to his advantage. He's living in LA working on becoming an actor, aiming for niche roles. He's appeared in The Gambler (Mark Wahlberg movie) as one of the basketball players, and he's done a lot of promotional work for costume artists, being dressed up as a monster. He's gained confidence and isn't really afraid to talk to people, but I just don't see him as the outgoing, exuberant extrovert Leo's are supposed to be.

Yes he is. Having confidence and being friendly and outgoing isn't a sign of being an extrovert. Being sociable isn't the same as being social.

I have worked in sales (retail, inside, outside, management) for 20 years and am a big introvert.

How I present myself in public for work (assertive, Type A) is very different than in private (I prefer to be at home as opposed to being out or in the company of a lot of people).

So, he's not an introvert.
No, he's definitely an introvert, he's just had to adapt to being the center of attention. He spends most of his time home alone, finds socializing draining, everything that defines an introvert is him. But he's technically a Leo because of his birthday.

What are his moon and rising signs? This could help you know a lot more about a person than only knowing his sun sign. I live in LA too (Santa Monica) and I know a Leo who sounds just like your brother. If we are going strictly off of sun signs. Leo only likes to come out when he or she can shine. Like when they're financially sound well theyre physically in shape etc. Its all about maintaining appearances. So maybe your brother is finally getting where he wants to be in life and is slowly coming out.

Hope this helps,

I have 2 Leo buddies who are both self-professed introverts. They both have Virgo moons.

They both work in jobs that require them to interact on a regular basis with members of the public (one is a programme manager for a kids' orchestra, the other works at a major tourist spot). Both consider themselves introverts though. They'd rather stay at home and spend time with family than go out to parties and socialise. Asking them out, even for a coffee and chitchat on a regular day, can feel like pulling teeth.
