Leo and Scorpio

Hey lovlies! I am back. And I have good news. Things have been going great with Scorp and we are over a year strong.

However I think I cracked the case.

Scorps always want to be in your mind, they want to know your soul.

During arguments I realize he's always saying "I want to know how you feel. Tell me what's on your mind/ or /tell me what's wrong."

Aha moment...

The problem between Scorps and Leos (when they aren't adoring each other to death)

Is communication.

I would respond "Nothing"

and he would say "How can we last as a couple if you don't tell me what's on your mind?"

You guys are probably sick of this but I was listening to old Katy Perry songs (and heard her tribute to Travis with "Mannequin"

and it was basically about how he wouldn't open up to her. How she "wish[ed] she could just turn him on switch a battery and make him talk"..."how he could feel that her love is real".

But sometimes although we think that our good nature, affection, acts, or even words may give some reassurance to our partners...during the good times... that we must learn to communicate the same during the BAD TIMES as well. And not just pridefully "shut off".

Well That's all I have to say!

Will be seeing scrop today. We are like a married couple seeing each other at least 3 days out of the week. His roommate even called to ask if I was with him and was shocked I was at home doing work. ::blushes::

i am just reading this and it is 100% true. I am a scorp who "dated" a leo .. who has recently resurfaced. The main issue between us is communication. Or lack of.

I remember getting annoyed at things and confronting him, telling him how i felt about this or that. his reaction would make me feel like it was only somethng that bothered me, when in reality i could tell he also felt the same way but he would NEVER admit it. I would ask him the same, like "how do YOU feel" and he NEVER had any complaints. He always gave me that "nothing" response. it got to a point where i thought i was being petty or complaining about everything, and i just stopped caring, because i felt he didnt. the best word i could think of the communication is frustrating.

i never thought it was due to ego though. i just thought he is a guy and never wants to talk about anything and thinks everything is ok. my brother is a leo with cancer moon. i NEVER know what he feels until i hear from my mom that he seems to be depressed. he never tells anyone how he feels, i thought it was because he doesnt like to bother people with his feelings.

Everyone hit's it in the nail! :-) Although there are issues with dominance, I'm not sure the communication issue has to do with dominance itself. It actually might have to do a little with the ego. At least in my experience, it's like Leoliza said, in the Leo mind it's about being considerate. Of course, if we need to communicate something that we feel is important - it will be said. However if there is an argument and one feels that their feelings may be hurtful, or if not, it is not the right time to reveal ones feelings, or pride gets in the way and one would not like their feelings to be taken lightly then there goes the silent treatment. I also find (and I see this in other leos too - ESPECIALLY with Scorps) that Leos like to have some mystery or aloofness. From my perspective, Leos don't want to be judge and thus don't divulge a lot of information. I also have a personal problem describing or communicating feelings in depth - not sure if that is a leo problem. And maybe it is the Ego. Sure one could write a love song, sure one could write a poem, sure one could attempt to communicate certain things that bother, however when there is an argument I find a Leo's strong ego with either claw the butter out of a person (if taken to the edge), but if it's a person the Leo loves and cares about they will try their best to bite their tongue. It's because Leos see the world around them and notice the hurtful things people say and their consequences, or notice the leaps (deep profession of love) and notice the consequences. And yes, it takes a while for them to open up and say that they care or love you and at the same time it doesn't. I know...confusing. My take on it is we love everybody (even if we can't stand them - because we know they are only human) and it's then difficult for others to tell how we truly feel about certain people. As a result, since we love everyone and we are used to treating people the same way, we have a problem (maybe ego problem) articulating how we actually feel with certain people. We like to give, we don't like things getting taken from us (even if it's our thoughts). Everyone is on a pedestal with us at sometime or another and the thought that one person could rein over the others in our world is not only scary but may hurt our pride.

But I guess we should learn that sometimes reaching out to someone who wants to hear us out...is actually a good thing.

Sometimes I feel scorps love us, not only because we are genuine and a

affectionate but also because sometimes I feel that scorps feel alone in this world of theirs. Leos give them lots of attention...LOTS and make them feel loved. Leos love scorps because I guess behind all that scorp mystery Leos can see how loving, intelligent, determined, and affectionate a scorp can be when they open up. When both Leo and Scorp open up to each other...sooner or later they'll realize that they are more alike than they had previously had thought. :-)
