Leo Male Sensitivity

Yes, from my dealings with Leo men, they are VERY VERY VERY sensitive individuals.
Not sure why, only they can answer that honestly.
Well actually, I think I can answer it partially because I have leo moon. I think it is heart/feelings combined with ego/pride. If you hurt either of those, they will pout and sulk and be hurt.
Yes! They are sooooo sensitive! And it's about the smallest little thing tho! Of course I'm not trying to hurt his feelings, but I'm a Gemini! I have no filter! *sigh* I guess I gotta watch my mouth from now on.

Firstly, let's not forget other factors within each natal chart.
Secondly, I can only speak for myself, having major Mercury, Saturn, Uranus and Pluto aspects with heavy-based influence in my chart. What I like to do the most is to get the job done without anything else getting involved, whatever the issue might be. Does it look very calculating? It sure is. One example is that my Sun trines both Saturn and Uranus, which add more impersonal qualities in it. With Saturn, it is very serious, self-disciplined, responsible, endurable, always armed for hard times. With Uranus, we see the more humanitarian and progressive side, which is more concerned with revolutionary and/or philanthropic affairs. Nothing personal involved.
My chart is Fire dominant, with Aries and Sag taking the biggest two pieces of the cake. Always on the go, no time for sentimentalities. Wherever the adventure is, I'm there. Nothing else matters. There are also some bodies located in Aquarius to my Ascendant, Moon and Mars to balance everything out. I don't think there's a need to comment any further.
I know a Leo guy with very Water-based chart and he really takes everything I say very personally. His Sun is in the 4th house (he's a Taurus Riser), Mercury, Lilith and Mars in Cancer, Jupiter and Moon conjunct Pluto in Scorp, North Node and Juno in Pisces. And he still holds grudges. Wow. That's where his sensitivity comes from.
So make sure to check out the natal chart of your guy just to see how he reacts towards everything you say to him. Don't forget that people are different and putting everyone in the same corner is quite irrelevant.

Better become unemotional jerk or he'll lose you. Smh.
The problem with that is, if he goes to either extreme, it might break your relationship.
I swear leo men are such high maintenance queens...

You are lucky your Cancer moon man is cool. You have no problems.
One of my oldest friends is a Sag with Cancer Moon opposite Saturn in Capricorn. He really knows how to manage his issues without complaining about it at all. That guy is some serious business.

He has a Cancer Moon
Could be his Cancer Moon or his Leione qualities. I am highly observant to people body posture, tone and response to situations. This gives me a read on them and where their behavior is and what I can expect their next action to be or how to handle their current state. I see it more as the cat on the hunt and evaluating the situation. If a person reacts this way I need to prepare myself or react in this way for the best result possible.
Of course we can get sensitive. We both have fire moons, but I put and brute. That is my Aries Moon, whereas he has a Sag Moon he has a whole different defense mechanism.

Sag Moons are more detached. Like Aqua Moons, but to a lesser extent.

Where is the sensitivity?
He is just a bossy Leo who wants your attention.
Let me give you an example of sensitivity.
A couple of days ago, my husband was driving me to work when we saw a man helping his dog into the back booth of his car. Before I could ask what the man was doing, the dog owner slammed the booth down on the dog.
My poor hubby. Cue the start of super-sensitivity the whole day. When we got to my work, he didnt get a kiss goodbye. At home, he mentioned me needing to change for some visitors... I asked if he thought I smelled. When he pointed out I was being too sensitive, I turned on him and called him uncompassionate. lol
Then I started to cry.
All these even though I know the animal clinic is close by and saw that the dog had some froth around his mouth.
You are lucky your Cancer moon man is cool. You have no problems.
It is not his Leo Sun that makes him emotional or sensitive. It is his moon sign.
Leos are generally not emotional people. Unfortunately/Fortunately we are too self absorbed to realize that you have offended us. We don't usually take things to heart.
Those of us with afflicted moons, me included are more sensitive than the lot. A water moon is a very difficult thing for a Fire Sun person. Cancer breeds sensitivity, Scorpio breeds insecurity and distrust and Pisces breeds this "it will be all right if I just close my eyes and pretend" kind of mentality.
I would also look to his Mars placement for additional insight.
I will say this you don't want to upset his Cancer Moon. Sashay on over to the Cancer board and read a few of those "my Cancer Man has disappeared threads". There has to be thousands of them.

You gonna need it with leo. They are sensitive cats, and our verbal witt and sharp tongue don't sit well with them. Also, sense of humor. I don't think leos have best sense of humor. It is that pride of theirs.
And just remember they are fixed. We are mutable, we can go with the flow. I don't think they can.

You are letting him push you around. You're the one who needs to "man up". I bet he's not even that sensitive, he's just huffing and puffing because HE CAN, because he's emotionally spoiled at this point. So you really need to put your foot down and tell him how it's gonna be. He may pout a while but if he's any kind of Cancer moon he'll process the information and get on with the program.

Also, my Moon has some sextiles with placements in Aqua, so that makes me quite a bit more aloof and laid back.

The funny thing, they act detached but that is just on the emotional expression level. They show it in other ways.
With my Aries Moon and fire placements I am more "detached" then most women on the outside. I am also more action oriented in showing how I feel then by words. As I say though, once my words are spoken take note because I only say something only if I mean it.
But my moon messes me up at times...at least for five minutes then I am better. But I notice that is where we bump heads the most at and I stand down until I sort through my emotions and the situation so I can come at him logically and intellectually instead of emotionally charged ahead.
i thought i was sensitive till i met my leo man... anything can set him off... but he's also right on the cusp cancer leo.... double sensitivity! ugh

I think Leo's worst fear is that people will think he is an idiot or a fool.
They will do anything to protect their image of king in control.
