Not sure if this Leo guy is feelin me

Hey y'all! I really need some insight on this. There is this really fly Leo man I work with and he caught my attention from day one. Well slowly but surely we've been chatting a bit at work, just mostly talking shop though we've also talked a bit about our personal lives. I've complimented him a few times on his clothes and on how good he smells. I did this without even knowing that Leos enjoy receiving compliments. I guess since then maybe he's picked up on my being interested in him. He likes to come by my desk a lot and I've noticed he will ask me questions on the IM and call me on my ext. @ work that I KNOW he knows the answers to (he's very smart one of the other things I love about him) and my other co-workers are insisting that he's interested. He had never really complimented on anything about me until the other day when I was having one of those days where I wasn't feeling my best and I was cold, so I had my jacket with my hood on and he asked if it was raining and I said it's just one of those days. Then he proceeds to tell me that I have a very beautiful face and that I shouldn't hide it. I was very flattered and said thank you. Then later on that day he said that I was a very smart chick and that I shouldn't stress too much about an upcoming project.

Now I understand (I think) that Leos can be really sweet and are pretty flirty and talk to everyone. Which is why I don't want to look too deep into this. But I can't help it if I have just a glimmer of hope that I may have at least caught his attention. At the very least though I'd love to be his friend, I think he's really amazing.

Any insight guys? Also I'm a Leo Rising, but I don't really know too much about Leos in general.

Well like I said I'd be cool with just being friends with him. Of course I thought about the work thing which has slowed me down as far as getting to know him. Really the only reason why my co workers think he *may* be interested is because he visits a lot. Oh well I'll just be cool & enjoy the attention for now I guess lol.

OOOk, sorry for necroposting, but I just wanted to update.

Well Mr. Leo still likes to come to my desk every. single. day. (which I don't mind at all!)often times more than twice. Now it's gotten to the point that more and more people at work are starting to notice and really think he's interested. At this point I figured he'd stop visiting just because of said observation, but surprisingly the chatter hasn't stopped him one bit from being all chatty with me. Last week he was sick with a pretty bad headcold so I told him that I'd make him some chicken soup and said you want oj too..of course he said yea and said he had nobody to take care of him. Well when I got home I didn't exactly have all of the ingredients for the soup. So in the morning before work I grabbed him a pack of personal Kleenex's, a bottle of OJ, and a little thing of chicken noodle soup. I left it on his desk for him to see it when he got in. He came to my desk and asked if it was me and said it was very sweet and he wasn't expecting it. I just kind of randomly do things like that for my friends anyway..so it wasn't a big deal..and he was suffering pretty bad too lol.

I'm noticing now though when he comes to see me, he brings little gifts...like little chocolates or like today someone on his side had a birthday and he brought me over a little piece of cake. We've started kind of talking outside of work. At first I would text him and he'd rarely reply. But then the other day I mentioned that I didn't like when people ignored my text messages (I said it in a jokingly sweet way of course)...and now when I text him he responds pretty quickly..not always but a lot better than before. Depends on what I send him first. Funny thing I found out recently is that our sun and rising signs are the opposite of each other meaning, mine is a Sun Taurus, rising Leo and his is Sun Leo, rising Taurus.

I just thought that little tidbit was cool. Honestly the crush is slowly losing it's intensity for me which is good, because it's usually when I loose interest, that the guy I like steps up their game lol

Yes he's single, he said he just broke up with someone back in like March or something like that. I actually just got out of a relationship myself, but I'm open to being friends and if later down the line it develops into more I'd be into it with him. I guess I just want to know for sure if he's interested or not. The not knowing is driving me a little bonkers! lol. As far as text goes if I ask him a direct question he's been answering pretty fast. But if I just send something random and silly then he won't respond. It's weird but he hits me up more on the work IM more then texting. Maybe he just finds me entertaining to make the day go by a little quicker who knows. Yesterday I mentioned that I'm not good at telling real jokes, but I've been told I'm funny after I've had a few drinks and he commented that'd he'd have to see that for himself. I mean we click pretty well and kind of feed off of each other when we are dealing with other people. It's almost like we're a team or something...that's how it feels anyway lol. Also in the morning sometimes we run into each other on the way upstairs and it feels almost natural for us to hug. It's weird, like that's how close we stand to each other. But yea your guess is as good as mine as to what his motives might be. He doesn't seem like he's vindictive or mean, he's actually very sweet to me so even if he DID have a reason for being so cool with me, I don't think it's anything bad...if that's makes any sense at all.
