That is a good point Tiziani.

Dimplz....I feel ya! I am very impatient one it comes to something/ someone I want...out of sight out of mind works best for the times like that. When it comes to everything else my patience seems more available.

The last step to gaining self-control is learning how to let go.

I never forgot it, when I read that.

+1, realizing that in actuality we cannot determine how and when things happen- and trying to let go of the illusion of control is the only way to truly be patient. Believing that we can control people or events will only lead to endless impatience and disappointment with the pace of things. There is no time for impatience- rather we should enjoy the pace because life may slip through our fingers otherwise.
