Posted by MoonshineLeoHe reached out this morning, so that's a good sign. I was most defintley going to suggest we go on an actual date if he brings up wanting to see me again. I think we were both impatient on meeting. I'll let him do most of the leading then it sounds like...
Wait for him to contact you and when he does do not go over to his house again. Take that date and get to know eachother.

I am completely fine with taking initiative as well and letting him know id like to see him or reach out, but i know that can be a bit of a turn off or too much sometimes. click to expandclick to expand

Posted by MoonshineLeoPatient panties, haha i love it. For sure though, he'll have to work for the rest if you wants it!
What’s your sign?

Posted by UndineBall teaser, not at all. I made it very clear multiple times if i came over what wouldn't be happening. He didnt get completely ignored in that matter though, id say he was still pleased when i left. Normally, I wouldn't just head over to a mans house like that but, based on our interactions i felt pretty okay in doing so, and it turned out great. The whole purpose of this post was to get a bit of insight as to whether i should do more chasing or leave him to do it based off of our interactions so far. Id rather not come off as looking needy, looking to just have a hook up but rather keep him interested and maybe take things slow. Since that's apparently how they like to do it?
Find some good dating advice online.
For starters, never do what you just did. Do not spend a day talking to a new love interest! It's like feeding him all day long and then wondering why is he full and burping. You should meet face to face on a short date (for example for coffee OR a walk in the park) which leaves both of you wanting for more.
Going to a man's place too early during dating, and then refusing to have sex are two mistakes in one go. What are you, a ball teaser....?

Posted by Alswope307I'm a natural chaser and the best thing I have learned about dating, is never to chase a man! If you are interested, give him subtle hints. If he needs to be chased, he's either not into you, or he's a pussy!Posted by Undine

Posted by UndineAside from my first girlfriend in high school, I never chased a woman that I was interested in dating. The women I've dated always pursued me first and then I started initiating to set dates. The myth that guys only chase when we're interested in a great way to open the flood gates for insecure men and players who love to chase but not commit.

there will be no need for you to do the pursuing.
Men are born to pursue women. Yes, you can pursue a man
if you want to, but in most cases that's just an obvious sign that
he's not into you. It's not natural for a man to sit back and let the
woman do all the work. For a man who claims to like you to sit back
and allow you to initiate all the calling, texting, dating arrangements,
talks about the future, etc, it's pretty obvious where you stand in
that man's life. When a man really wants you, you won't have to chase
after him like he's some celebrity who barely has time for a fan.
You will be his priority."

Joke aside, you "started initiating to set dates". Meaning that the women didn't actually chase you. Did they come to you and asked for date? Suggested that you become a couple? Talked about marriage and children? Said "I love you" first? And most importantly, why did they bail out?
Once a good relationship is established, nobody has to "chase" anybody. She will say yes! to the right guy.

Posted by UndineConstant texting and calling is usually what a lot of women expect men to do. If a man's not constantly up a woman's butt, there are plenty of women who assume the guy isn't interested enough. Men should initiate, but constant pursuit? No.
Chasing as courtship FOR MEN means initiating more than once, after being refused at the beginning. Read the body language, the tone of her voice, and if positive, try again days/weeks later.
@Chuckcem: What did you think it meant? Running after someone each time you see them or stalking them? LOL.

I think I struck a nerve because your insecurity is showing. Your attempt to question my masculinity because I didn't blindly accept the random online dating advice that you found on the internet shows you don't completely believe what your saying. If you did, you wouldn't be so defensive.
You also forget that women are the emotional bonders, not men. It's literally not our job to pursue women professing our eternal love. It's the same reason women tend to be attracted to guys who don't chase them, instead of the clingy guys who do. A man with a purpose in life will always be more interesting than the one with time to constantly chase. However it's possible that you're more of a masculine woman who attracts feminine men who do chase. There's nothing wrong with that. Only you would truly know that, not me.
I didn't have to chase because the women I've dated were direct. They were all confident and went after what they wanted, which I respect. They told me about their interest and insisted I contact them. If I was interested, I did and set up dates. They however were the ones calling and texting, not me. I don't have time to play puppy dog and chase them around.
Instead I was busy focusing on my life and building up my network, career, etc.. This of course is what attracted those women to me in the first place. The women I date understand that I run my own business and don't need me contacting them at all times. That would be a turn off to him. Some of them even expressed turning away/friendzoning guys who actually did chased them. So having spoken with/dated enough women, I personally know that woman do pursue the men they find valuable and run from the men who over pursue them.
I challenge you to think about the men you've dated. Now think of the men you still think about to this day, the men who possibly got away. Think about the men who regardless of if you love them or hate them, you can't get them off of your mind. Did those guys chase you? Did they call you constantly? They probably did their own thing. Likewise do you think guys with busy lives are chasing women around? No. They simply don't have time. click to expandclick to expand
Posted by ChuckcemThank you for that. I know we just met so it is a bit silly, i just feel like we have a lot in common and i had a really great time when saw him for the first time. Leo man here. Check out the Leo FAQ, question 3 and 5. Also you may want to check out the third answer for question 7. (https://www.dxpnet.com/opinion/leo/the-leo-faq-10571016/?checkpg=1)
You've only just met this guy over the weekend and you barely know him. There's no reason to be concerned just because he hasn't contacted you in 24 hours. Leos are busy people. If he likes you, he's probably giving you space so that he doesn't smother you and scare you off. Think about it. Likewise he could be busy with work or whatever.
Also realize that it's the downtime that has him on your mind at the moment. While women for some reason are taught that men chase when we like them, this isn't always the case. What most people don't say is that the time apart is what creates the attraction. Constantly having a man in your face would be boring. It's good to know that this guy has a healthy mindset and a life outside of you.
Yes some men do chase, a lot of them also happen to be clingy and/or players (those men who are in love with the chase). Is that what you want? Likewise some men won't chase because they have a lot of options or are simply uninterested. Additionally a man who is focused on his career and building himself up (the type of quality guy you'd want) wouldn't have time to chase you either.
So Instead of worrying if the Leo is pursuing you constantly, see if he's initiating. The Leo inviting you over and trying to make you comfortable was a good sign. We Leos are great initiators, but not always the best chasers.
Leos tend to often have options in love, so we may take our time figuring out who is best for us.
Even when we don't have options, we often juggle romance with other parts of our lives life (work, friends, family, etc). The men especially can also can be horrible texters after a while (or right from the start). Even more importantly we're looking for partners who know how to reciprocate. If the Leo has already invited you out, then it's time to reciprocate. Feel free to reach out to him.
That's the biggest point. Until a Leo is sure about you (which seeing that you two barely know each other, the Leo is not), we won't chase you. We'll initiate and open doors to see if you step through them. We'll also see if you have a big heart like us and initiate contact as well. We'll gauge and observe you for a bit to see if you're genuine. So give it some time, if you don't hear from him then shoot him a text. You've only just met, it's really not that big of a deal. He could easily be just as nervous as you are.

Another side note- when he first started out texting he was calling me babe, since I saw him on Sunday he hasn't. I found it a bit weird he called me that so early to begin with but lol?
We were having a text convo on Saturday but were both drinking (cinco de mayo) At one point i sent him a bikini pic and he stated how bad he wanted me but all of me. Dating, getting to know me, sexual just all of it. Clearly that was alcohol talking he asked me to come over later and we attempted but i said i wasn't trying to be a booty call when it finally got to late and he said that's not what he wanted or saw me as. lol So i guess I'm also wondering if the him not texting me as much or calling me babe is a potentially bad sign? Or if what he text during his drink sesh was a good thing.
Also....I'd love to see him this weekend, should i wait till about Thursday and just ask him what his schedule looks like and say that I'd love to spend some time with him? Or wait and see what he does.... click to expandclick to expand

I recently (as of last week) started talking to a leo man. We matched on a dating site, exchanged numbers that day and talked ALL day the next from 6am until bedtime about everything and what we wanted, were looking for, past experience and eventually got a bit sexual. He asked me out for Friday but had to rain check. He told me he wanted to see me yesterday, so I ended up going over to his place. I did explain that i wasn't trying to give off the wrong impression by skipping a date and going straight to his house, i was actually looking for something more than just a hook up. He agreed and explained he was wanting something more as well and just honestly wanted to see me, he did mention that we could always go to a movie if i didn't feel comfortable because he wanted me to be. Which after going back and forth i just went over to his place. We watched a movie, got to know each other more and ended up messing around but did not take it all the way. I left and said i really liked him and hoped he felt the same. He said he thought i was great and definetly wanted to get to know me more. I haven't heard from him this morning and at this point...i am just wondering how to take things with him. Should i show him attention by texting him like i want to or just play it cool and let him come to me?
It sounds like he's interested, right? Its hard for me to trust guys at times, whether he is just trying to laid or actually is interested.
I have just read that some leos love attention and others said they love to do the chasing...so which does it seem like in this situation? lol
Thanks!

Posted by Alswope307Don't get overly attached to texting. Also don't make it a habit of sending him pics when you haven't heard from him. He's not your boyfriend and this seems a bit desperate on your part. Don't reward lack of action in that way. Just ask him when he'll be free. Otherwise just wait for him to ask you out. While Leos like direct women, you shouldn't be expected to make all of the moves. Also remember that you have no idea how many other women are pursuing him (maybe none, maybe 5), so you'll want to present yourself as the best of the best.Posted by Alswope307

UPDATE-
So i reached out to him shortly after we were both off from work. He was at the gym, still seemed a bit different talking to me. So i took a few cute sexy photos sent them along with something that said like i wasn't into games and couldn't tell if he has been just busy or bored but i aim to please. I said i wanted to see him again and asked what his schedule looked like this week/weekend. I said i hope that wasn't too forward.
He came back with heart eyes saying defintley not too forward. He has just had a busy week so far and doesn't like to do much during the week or drink.
I said we didn't have to drink but i understand if he prefers the weekends to do things. I told him i just like to be on the same page when it comes to things like this and communication is key.
He said he really appreciated me asking him and liked that i wasn't afraid to bring it up.
I said i don't like playing the guessing or the games and so i am just forward about it, if that scares the man away then so be it, but id rather not waste my time and energy.
He didn't respond to that but rather waited a few hours and asked about my night.
we talked a bit (he never answered my question about his schedule)
said he was going to bed and to sleep well. He did call me babe again which was nice.
I was going to just throw out a date idea and a day this weekend....good idea or wait to see what he does? I'm thinking maybe no since i already mentioned it and he pretty much knows where i stand. I did give him an easy out there if he wasn't feeling it and so i guess its positive he ended up getting a hold of me later on..

I have a bad habit of doing that to get attention if it seemed to work before with that person. I'll hold off anymore photos then. He initiated a good morning text today and talked to me for a bit but i know hes busy at work so i've just been responsive but not too much.
Hes still on tinder, i mean that's where i met him so i'm going to say its safe to assume hes talking to multiple other people. The thing i hate about leos sometimes is they always seem to be looking for the next best thing, but i know i can be a great thing if just given the damn chance. I'll just wait and see if he asks me if im free this weekend. Would probably reassure me that hes interested anyways if he does that.

Posted by Alswope307First you can't make this an everyday thing. Worry every day about this guy is a bad way to go. Expect that there will be days when you won't hear from him. You don't really know this guy, there isn't a reason for either of you to expect to hear from each other everyday. So get busy living your life. You clearly had other things going on before you met this guy. Don't sit around waiting to hear from himPosted by ChuckcemPosted by Alswope307This all sounds normal. Interesting. I have no prior relationship experience with a Pisces, so I have a neutral view in terms of a Leo & Pisces compatibility. Out of two other water signs I've dated (Cancer and Scorpio), I think Cancer does better with a Leo.
Hmm, well your sun sign isn't everything. A person's placements and their houses matter more. You may actually compliment each other's planets, houses, or placements.

Don't get overly attached to texting. Also remember that you have no idea how many other women are pursuing him (maybe none, maybe 5), so you'll want to present yourself as the best of the best. click to expand
Thanks for your feedback, been a big help! click to expand
This all sounds normal. If you feel the need to pull the trigger and ask him out yourself, do it. Like I said, I personally have always found it attractive when women were direct with me. I also recommend talking to other guys as well. There's no point in getting hung up on this dude that you barely know. click to expand
I tried to make a bit of a joke and then asked if he was free this weekend. He came back with "lol. The weekends have been killing me."
That was all. So i said "poor thing! Well if you're feeling up to it i may be able to squeeze in a movie or grab a drink with you. Ill be pretty unavailable next week." Which is true i have friends coming into town.
Feedback on his lame response? Not interested yeah? Either that or playing games.. I am done responding unless he does. And if he wants to get together then it'll be a date and not his house. click to expand
First you can't make this an everyday thing. Worry every day about this guy is a bad way to go. Expect that there will be days when you won't hear from him. You don't really know this guy, there isn't a reason for either of you to expect to hear from each other everyday. So get busy living your life. You clearly had other things going on before you met this guy. Don't sit around waiting to hear from him
Also know that Leos are naturally attracted to confident partners. We like partners who are emotionally stable and internally strong. If you're going to unravel just because you didn't hear from this guy for a whole 24 hours, this won't work.
You've now invited him out, the ball is in his court. How he responds will let you know where his mind is. I'll let you know right now, he's probably not nearly as committed as you are right now. It's too early for him to fixated on you. Let him reach back out to you when he's ready. If he doesn't reach out at all, then you have your answer. If he does, take it from there.

Posted by Alswope307Just tell him that the height difference doesn't matter to you. Tell him that you only mentioned it because you thought that HE would be uncomfortable with you (I'm assuming you're taller than he is). Let him know that some guys are intimidated by taller women and you became nervous. Basically as long as you let him know that that you are cool with him, he'll be fine. This is just another reason to not overthink things since it's early.Posted by ChuckcemPosted by Alswope307First you can't make this an everyday thing.
I have just read that some leos love attention and others said they love to do the chasing...so which does it seem like in this situation? lol
Thanks!
UPDATE-
So i reached out to him shortly after we were both off from work.

Alright just have one more question. So apparently I messed up. I tend to get nervous when I fancy someone... and say stupid sprinkle.
He finally txt me back and said this”
So, I know I've been a little more standoffish and it's just because when we were together you mentioned a couple of times about how long your legs were or the height difference. I feel like it was def a noticeable difference, but I'm also really attracted to you, so I'm really torn. I feel like because you mentioned it a couple of times that you felt uncomfortable and that made me feel uncomfortable that you feel that way. But ugh...I want you so bad too.”
I came back with I was sorry I say stupid things when I’m nervous and am interested in someone. That after spending time with him and getting to know him I didn’t care about that.
Just curious as to if I am able to save this or not. I like that he was honest. But I clearly made him uncomfortable... so much he pulled back. click to expandclick to expand

I'm back. haha
I'm trying not to let this bother me but I'm a bit confused and a little frustrated. Friday morning i asked him if he was still interested in getting to know me or if the height comment had bothered him. (He never responded to my response the night before when he brought it up)
He came back to say stop over thinking. and laughed... "I like you and want to get to know you more. Im not going to rush into anything with anyone because i want the next relationship to be the real thing. I hate dating. Who knows where this will go but to me the worst thing to do is put pressure on it. I get weird when things don't feel natural. Based on what you said when we started texting you dont like games BS/drama either. So lets just continue to see where this goes."
That was Friday morning. I hardly heard from him all day. I passed by his house and was trying to just be flirty and cute and txt that i just passed by and totally thought about just stopping in for a quick kiss. He read it and never responded... and i haven't heard from him since. We had been talking every day and he would at least txt good morning or something, i got nothing all weekend. So what gives? I understand he wants to go slow, but i guess i don't understand why he would tell me he likes me and wants to get to know me but then doesn't reach out anymore. Should i reach out today and just see how his weekend went? I wasn't going too.....clearly if he wanted to talk to me he would reach out. Its just annoying and totally confusing. Is he not actually interested? haha Everyone's idea of going slow is different, maybe i should of asked that.
Posted by MoonshineLeoGod no i didn't actually stop by! lol I was passing by (kind of) and thought it would just be cute to say something like i would have loved to stop in for a quick kiss.
