Constant need to defend!

Not sure if this is a Libra thing, but i always have the constant need to defend people and back them up. Even from a young age, I remember being the one who "bullied the bullies".

I suppose it ties in with my need for fairness and equality, but it does bug me because when i am stating my "defence" it is often riddled with "untruths". It really bugs me because I pride myself on being an honest person and I know my intentions are good and usually get the point across but why cant I do this without all the little "white lies".

yes. others, myself, a belief or theory that i may not hold. while we may look at this quality as a need to defend, others often view it as argumentative, or just being a killjoy. yes, even when you defend the underdog. sucks.

I dont defend unless I am personally involved in the situation and I agree with the defendant.. If I dont agree with the defendant I might explain to them why I think I disagree.

the "belief or theory that i do not hold" is so true for me. The other day I was defending the muslim religion to a friend of a friend, and they were like "i didnt mean to offend your religion" i was like "im not religious" the look on her face was priceless lol. She just couldnt understand why i would so adamantly defend something that I didnt even believe in, and to be fair i dont understand either, i just cant help myself.

My friends always say i would dispute the grass being green just for the sake of it, and i probably would if i could find some info to back it up (or make some up 😉 ) and i too get called argumentative but i really dont consider myself argumantative i HATE confontational situations, though i will confront someone if neccessary.

I do love debate though but thats it much different from arguing, me and my libra cousin debate all night long about any old rubbish and have a laugh about it. My Cancer ex would get infuriated by it and always thought i was trying to personally attack him or make him feel stupid, he really didnt understand me.
