Does anyone feel like astrology messed up your perception of what is really happening in a courtship? I talk to a cancer guy for a little while now and I think if it werent for me reading these boards on how slow it is how they disappear and all that I woulda jumped shit along time ago.. But instead I keep following these damn guidelines and he keeps coming back.... I dont know if this relationship will ever lead to anything I feel like he plays games with me... I think next time I'm going to try hard not to find out what sign they are so I can focus on the person as an individual.

I think anyone who frequents this website must have some belief in astrology , otherwise they wouldnt be here. I think the guidelines taught in the zodiac signs and interpersonal relationships are pretty reliable . For me anyway, alot of the ideals and personality traits taught about Libra rings pretty true. i wish i learned about astrology at a younger age , it would have helped me to understand others (non Libras) much better !

Yeah, one wrong move and your entire game is off. I thought I had this guy all figured out, thought his Virgo moon would compliment my earthy moon...found out I had the wrong year th whole time. He had an asshole moon...

Lol @asshole moon lol. There was a Taurus I was speaking to and being a Virgo we were supposedly a brilliant match. It was awesome but there was no follow through. In my opinion I say go with your instinct. If you like the person enough and vice versa it'll work. I'm more a believer in Chinese astrology but even that is moot sometimes. Peoples life experiences and environment effect peoples persona. I'm.currently talking to a Libra and its delightful to me but I'm also talking to Gem n Cappy. Keep your options and mind open I say. You never know!! 🙂)

OK here goes but this is ONLY MY OPINION so please take it w/ a grain of salt. I am a very agreeable and friendly Libra , I enjoy the company of Fire and Air signs very much !! .I also generally get along with the Earth signs (except some Caps and Taurus) Water signs for me are the only real downers of the Zodiac .

Piscies : I get along with males and females cooly , nothing earth-shattering but mutual respect and peacefull friendships , but they speak and think in different wavelegths than this Libra.

Cancer : My mom is one , we get along fine but she plays games with her children so I am careful . The Male Cancers I know I have always had difficulties with on a communication level and some can be very strange, they don't like critisism so when they say "just be honest" don't believe it !! they hold feelings and grudges for a looong time and then they just let it all out in a big mess . Except for two close Cancer Men Friends I basically do not invest much time with them .
The women - again I have difficulty dealing with them because of their strange communication , they seem very sensitive as a whole , alot like the men .

Scorpios : I am not kidding when I say I can't relate to about 85 % of Scorps. They always seem to let me down in the end. I must come off to be too happy for them and I think it irritates them. They are manipulative, suspicious and controlling as a whole , when I find out someone is a Scorp i generally ignore them , if they show a liking to me - I will respond in a friendly manner but my guard is always up. The males are almost always shitheads !!Surprisingly I have quite a few female Scorp friends but I think it is only becaiuse I am very handsome and so they are attracted to me.

all of this might sound harsh but i'm only being honest... like a Libra

I too dated a Virgo that had all the "supposedly" right synastry with me. But I found that he was a depressed person a lot of the time. And he was always complaining about things. It became like a science project and I felt like I had to always cheer him up. On the other hand, I have been dating a Taurus who when I did our charts, has a lot of negative aspects to me. But with him its so much easier. He never complains, his goal is to just love me for who I am and to make me happy. So the man who should be better for me atrologically is not who I feel is for me. Does this make any sense?

When I first started getting into astrology I was dating an Aqua and really trying to get into his head. I paid WAY too much attention to what ppl wrote about them and tried to apply it and all this other bullshit. It was exhausting. One day I was like ''Snap the fuck out of it. Hes a fucking selfish, repressed, emotionally retarded asshole fuck loser. Who cares what sign he is?''.

I think astrology is fun and gives you a baseline for ones personality and it comes in handy. But certainly dont let it overrule your instincts and basic common sense.

Me and my Cappy friend have discussed how Virgos are always complaining about everything. One of my best friends is a male Virgo and he is a very loyal friend but completely humourless.

I stayed in the relationship with the virguy for 5 months more than I would've with anyone else because I thought the great "chart" would somehow come to life... Not!

I think it's more a case of how a person interprets/relays such information back in how it relates personality trait/psychology wise.
Outside of that I thought most people just look for definitions etc that have the nicest or most appealing things to say 😄

Yes, how one interprets another depends on life experiences, culture, where you are in life right now. For me, its how a man makes me feel when I am with him. All the money, gifts, promises in the world cannot match that feeling.

i've noticed that moons in mutable signs are usually a pretty awful thing if you're looking for love from someone. the biggest jerk i've gone out with had a moon in virgo. though, he was also an aquarius sun, which means his moon and sun were at a quincunx. it indicates that parts of a person (whatever is represented by a certain planet) cannot related to other parts. so a sun/moon quincunx means that a person's self/identity and heart/emotions just don't relate to one another. it's different from an opposition or square, because those indicate struggles that can be worked through. it also matters in synastry and composite charts, which indicate how you get alone with one another and the dynamics of the relationship between you, respectively.

there was a sag-moon guy i was seeing (cancer sun). we got along great. but i knew it wouldn't work. my moon is in leo. my heart likes stability. we were compatible as human beings, but not for a relationship.

Just remember there's more than just the sun placement.
Like if ever wonder how a famous couple get on so well have great chemistry, it's probably because they have other placements that mesh well together.
Vice-versa if you see a partnership where you'd assume they would get on together i.e. Libra and Gemini, they might have horrible placements somewhere else in their chart.?

Stating the obvious a bit, and you probably already knew this, but it makes sense right?

For example this is probably a a typical example of Virgos with their Mercury in Virgo as well. I'm sure a Virgo with a Libra Merc would't complain so much.

It used to, but then I realized if these guys were gna do these so called "Disappearing acts" and "mind games" then it meant they just really weren't ready for a relationship and I wasn't gna wait for them. I made the mistake of excusing things for him being a scorpio when I went through my first thing with a scorpio. After that I began to learn they're all guys with basically the same bullshit signs that they aren't ready to get serious
