Guy I let go years ago came back into my life (Page 2)

ht, I should just block his number, however, I’ve never been one to block numbers I clearly just ignore people hence the 900 text messages which are mostly spam text messages. So if he does reach out I think I’ll just not open it or delete it. Even read him on read like I did last may. I do not deserve to have my heart played with to the extent in which he played with it

He can only come back if you allow it. Now is your chance to block him from ever contacting you again. That will show him that you aren't weak for him and strong enough to move on with your life. Do it!

Isn't that still holding on and hoping for an outcome of some sort to appease your ego that him contacting you again shows he still cares somewhat? That is the kiss of death to your heart. It is best to cut it off so your heart gets the message there is no more hope as far as he is concerned. Then you can heal and move on.
