I have mercury in Libra and I am not like this AT ALL. What other placements have they got ?

Posted by mindofalibraThanks for the post. Did notice competitiveness , though didn't think it would be that bad.
Its probably their Scorpio, most of them are very competitive and very jealous of anyone that is better at anything than them. All the ones I've encountered were like this anyway. I doubt its the Libra mercury

that's an absolute bummer I agree.
where's your mercury?
Capricorn can be too sensitive when it comes to their work, I think telling them bluntly how their comments are effecting you would help, since they are not aware of it.

I'm struggling to appreciate the person's "balancing" reflex when it comes to situation where encouragement/celebration happens. I've noticed more then once where they throw in something to tone down the excitement/sense of accomplishment for a situation. Honestly it feels like they refuse to give praise in some moments. Like overcoming a skilled opponent in a completion, then throwing in say they're always someone better/stronger out there, etc.
This trait wouldn't be too bad if I didn't notice that when they do stuff/look for encouragement, etc, I'm always doing my best to make them feel confident enough to take a coarse in action, analyzing every freaking view they can think of and setting things in perspective and emphasizing what's important in whatever the situation calls for at the moment.
So I'll admit, I'm honestly to the point where I don't want to work with them much, since it feels like they don't trust that without "balancing" comments, I'll go on a ego-trip of epic proportions or something. Hell, I feel more like they're against me more then for me and in turn, I gave less and less energy to give to them when THEY need support. The fact they don't seem aware of this, makes me wonder if it's even worth discussing at this point.
