Now he knows himself that he's SURE things aren't going to work out, so he's using a canned response to break it off with you. This is something some Libras do. If they aren't the ones initiating the break up, they'll pine, wonder, fret, etc. over the situation because omg what if they lost THE one— So if someone foolishly gives them a second chance and then the Libra sees for THEM SELF that, yep, not gonna work, then THEY get to break it off, knowing that it wasn't a sure thing because THEY decided that things were done.
Move on. Dude is full of shit and has no interest and has basically told you to move on, too.

Im a Virgo and my ex is a libra. We dated for 5 years. We broke up back in January becuase he was a jealous person and I felt as if he needed to work on I'm self, he agreed and we went separate ways. During this first break up we talked and hung out from time to time. (we have a dog together) after about 3 months we got back together and things felt as if they were fine and back to normal. One day he just said that needed time for work. So pretty much we broke up so he can focus on work. He tells me we are getting back together once he finds a good spot at work and isn't as stressed out. He told me not to wait for him and to live my life. Post break up we text and are friendly. I just feel like he needs space or possibly wants to go around and be single for a while...just confused.
