I give them as few options as possible. Aka the two I know that they want to do and let them choose from there haha. Or if I want to speed things along, I give them one option they want and one they don't so it makes it easier for them to choose.

Half the time, I can read their reaction and choose for them, the choice being what they really want to do.

Do you want to do x or y?
"Hmm, x sounds okay, but so does y.If you want to do x, then let's do that."
*can tell they really want to do y and are lukewarm about x, but doesn't want to rock the boat."
...you want to do y?
"Yeah, y sounds good!"

Wish I would get more reactions like this. It's a longer debate for me but for some reason I subdue Aries placements with them and Virgo Sun won't come out and request something either so we have to dance for a bit.

The difference between Aries Cardinal and Libra Cardinal (Capricorn too) is that us Libs (and Cap) don't want to waste our time messing shit up. We insist on doing it right the first time so we think it over for awhile (Caps = plan plan plan) and then take action.

My boss has Aries Mars and I spend half of my time (paid hourly) going back and fixing his half ass done mistakes. Then he complains about how much time it takes me to do things. Sorry that you're so impulsive and did so much wrong the first time dummo.

I got really good at it considering I had a Libra mom haha.

I also break things down a bit too. I do this a lot at work as well because people will ask me what they should choose between two dishes and I don't like deciding for them because I don't know their tastes and mine could be very different from theirs. So I break it down. "Well, do you want this flavor profile or this flavor profile?" Same with Libras who are torn about something. I break it down to the basics and it's like well do you want this because of this or that because of that?" It's easier for them to decide if it's down to the bare minimum in details, you know?

This is what I do: give two choices, one you want them to do and one you know they don't want to do 😛 I do this with my son and it works because he needs to have choices in everything. Anyway any human being prefers to feel empowered.
You aren't giving them a choice, you're manipulating them to get your way. It's one thing with your kid, it's another with a peer.

Not cool. I wouldn't brag about this quality. It's a gross one.

It's a necessity when working with a special needs child.
