need advice about libra man

this libra guy ive seen for about a month now told me he said he doesnt feel a "heart to heart" emotional connection with me and for me it bothered me alot and knowing it was bothering what he said he told me to forget about it he kept brushing it off as time will tell. After a day later we had plans to meet he texted me asking me if he could have the day to himself. Since that day it bothered me so i just chose to end things with him since he said practically his heart isnt there and i felt like i wasnt capable to help him get to where he can feel emotional connection with me. Was it too early on to stop trying or was it a sign that he himself couldnt get there and instead of breaking it off he chose to kind of have alone time and gradually show signs of being distant.

When i broke things off he said he thought alot about it and his heart wasnt there and accepted it.

I agree also that you did the right thing by ending it. It's doubtful his feelings will grow to more than a friendship.

I also commend him for being direct and honest w you. That's a good attribute to have. He didn't want to waste your time.

yes i felt like he wouldnt have really called it off or would try to somehow believe time will tell. it was really good while it lasted but im just thankful he was honest and told me how he felt than rather leading me on.
