Virgo Man

How are virgo men as friends with libra woman? I met this guy and I made it clear early on that I am not trying to pick him up, but needed a friend. He seemed to turn a little "off"....Do men REALLY not want to be friends, not friends with benefits etc with women these days?

He is really persistent, considerate, patient and kind. A great friend, more than I ever thought possible. A few years younger than myself, but wise and intelligent. We text and talk for hours on end. He is melting this Leebs heart, Oh my!!!
