and you want to send that last text explaining your realization of your side of fault (though each party may have had fault) in the cause of the end of your relationship....

No. Call me old-fashioned but i still don't think that is something to talk about through text messages.

I write an email, there's always way more to say that just in a text and I can re-read it and know what I am saying is final. I close all the doors this way and don't expect an email back. I make sure I thank him for the part they had/shared in my life and wish him well and then start the uphill battle of getting myself back on my feet.

No, because if it's over what's the point, unless you're hoping somehow that it's not really.

i have this very long email that i wrote for my ex with things that i want to say to him but i just can't send it, i have no idea y.. it have been one mouth sense he broke up with me, i just what to let him know that i'm not mad at him and i understand that its time to let go and i wish him all the best.. i really think i should do that but i can't send it, even thou its already in my email draft under his email

maybe i can't because its over and i don't want him to think i'm trying to get back with him or something!

You shouldn't do it because HE broke up with you, no? You owe him nothing in that regard. He's the one who wanted to end it, so why do you think you owe him some sort of explanation? I'd understand if you broke it off and wanted to give some sort of closure (but even then, contacting isn't always the best option), but this isn't the case.

It's pointless to send an email like that though, and I think you know it, which is also why you won't send it.

And yes, sending it will make you look like you're trying to get him back.

Btw, writing something like that as a journal entry is probably a better option. Things you're thinking that you want to write about to help clear your mind are better for a journal than shared with the person who wanted to end it. It just makes things awkward.
